Hotel Swagat(Lodge)

Nice cheap old fashioned hotel. Rooms are little damp otherwise everything is fine. Power Cut is the biggest problem in this area be prepared. Try to eat from out side ,foods are not so good. Service also good. So overall 4 star.

When you come to such remote location your priorities changes, you think less about comfort but more about getting good help to reach where you want to, and have the adventure you came for. Considering this I will say that owner helped us out in every aspect from providing us accommodation for just a few hours to getting us boat even though we became late for this. Also he himself took us to the bus which would take us to next destination at late evening. Owner ( Prabhat) behaved like a friend. Hotel is located at Bus stop.

Anything and everything in Chandbali, Orissa...the gateway of famous Bhitorkonika, Paradeep, the Diamond triangle of Buddhism--Lalitgiri, Udaigiri and Ratnagiri, ....starts with handsome, soft-spoken Mr.Pravat, the mastermind of Hotel Swagat( Lodge).True to its name, Hotel Swagat always welcomes you and true to his name, Pravat is actually a blessing and sunshine to the travellers in such a small developing town.Though Chandbali is very old, it lacks proper accommodation and guidance for travellers wanting to go Bhitorkonika and Paradeep. Pravat, with his knowledge about the place, with his good communication skill and with his all assuring smile, is a blessing in disguise. Though the hotel is a basic one, it is neat and clean,pocket- friendly and also the oldest in Chandbali and most reputed.

They are working on their rooms... And they can cover up the limitations of rooms with their unlimited great behaviour

Very good service. Neet and clean. Even though it looks old from outside The rooms are in very good condition.The owner is very polite and helpful.

Cheapest place. Accommodation is good and according to the rate. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Whole trip arrangement was good.

Stayed on 10th Feb 2018.nice and very co-operative men .Rooms is ok as compare to rent. Can be improved and by charging few more rent ..
