Not a nice experience. Dirty bed linen and pillow, room not in good condition. Complimentary breakfast here is pitiful. Had to ask for tea satche, cups countless times. Only one soap was provided. Compared to West Bengal Tourism properties, the Panthanivas in the capital of Odisha was a big let down. Not recommended.

Had gone for some good food but though the ambiance and location makes it a valid choice for many establishments near by. The food quality does not meet the 5 star category. There are many dishes in the menu that are not asked for so is blissfully ignored by the normal goers. But yes, there presence is a promising future to be included in the deemed restaurants if they take care of their quality and presentation of their food. They do have a forte in Odia cusine, which is a must try for those visiting Orissa for the first time.

We were in group of 25 members from Bengaluru, booked this hotel through phone including early check-in. After reaching the hotel, rooms were really maintained well, room service guy cum receiptionist was really polite and helpful. Complimentary water bottle of 1ltr for each room was provided. "Comfy and close to everything Can be easily reached and most of the shopping centers, hospitals and sights are nearby. The room was comfortable and affordable compared to other nearby hotels. They were very practical altogether. The staff was also kind and helpful with anything, with perfect communication skills, so there were no miscommunication issues." The place is in heart of Bhubaneswar, well connected with rail, road, air. |Place is a old property, primarily for the use of Odisha Govt. staff, Place is ill maintained, has lot of dust, low light, |Staff is confused, poor service, bed linen is not clean, has few spots. etc.|Campus area is also not maintained.|Please avoid this hotel till such time the 'renovation' is complete.

I stayed for three nights in this place. The rooms are spacious but not maintained well (as any other govt managed place). The walls are shabby with old paint like old the table cloth in their restaurant. They serve early bed-tea. But you need to order the lunch/dinner and go there after sometime else you will spend ample time waiting at the restaurant. We had trouble in getting the order we placed even after 40 minutes of waiting, ended up with what they have than what we ordered. Restaurant staff was bit rude to you as well. The price point is bit high than the service you get. Parking is available. They say wifi is there and gave password as well. But it never gets connected to any of our groups devices. Also in some rooms mobile network coverage is bad.

I stayed for one night and my observations are as follows. Basic things lacking in a AC Deluxe room like no hand wash liquid in the bathroom, no toiletries at all in the bathroom infact. Room not well maintained. Bed sheets torn, bed post peeling off. Food served was bad. I ordered chicken fried rice and when food was served it was not pleasing to the eye at all. It looked like the food was plated and then taken off and haphazardly served. I wouldn't like to go back to this hotel again
