Blue Orchid Resort

My recent visit to the resort near Bhubaneswar was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I stepped foot onto the premises, it became evident that this place was not worthy of anyone's time or money. Let's start with the service--or lack thereof. The staff seemed disinterested and incompetent, with no sense of professionalism or courtesy. Requests went unanswered, and simple tasks were botched repeatedly. It felt like they were doing us a favor by allowing us to stay, rather than providing the service we paid for. And don't even get me started on the food. Tasteless, overpriced, and undercooked, the meals served at this resort were a disgrace to the culinary world. It's baffling how they can charge such exorbitant prices for such subpar quality. In summary, my experience at this resort was beyond disappointing--it was downright appalling. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this establishment like the plague. There are plenty of other options near Bhubaneswar that actually value their customers and provide a decent experience. This place should undergo a complete overhaul before daring to welcome guests again.

The rooms were okay but had dirty used towels in the washroom. The bedsheet and pillow covers also looked very used. Overall, the property had a good pool, but everything else was really, really bad. The food was absolutely abysmal, and there was no such thing as a dining area. There was a tiny room with a couple of plastic tables and chairs, no air conditioning, a metal door that kept slamming, and we were served our food there. It was too hot to actually eat anything sitting inside that tiny sweltering hot room, but it's okay because the food wasn't worth eating. We ended up ordering from swiggy and eating in our rooms. They had ordered food from somewhere, and it was basically really bad quality food, but they were charging us Rs.600 per plate for plain rice, dal, mix veg, chicken, and ice cream. It was mostly left uneaten as it was not really palatable. Further, when we complained to the manager, he connected us on the phone with the owner's brother, who was not only extremely rude, he used horrible language, including slangs and went on to threaten us. I would strongly suggest anyone thinking of spending their time here to search for any other option as anything is better than this place.

This resort owner has no ethics of talking to customer. If you will complain he will become maner less with 0 moral. Please book only if you want to spoil you vacation mood. No network connectivity. No wifi. No room service. Worst quality food. Worst care taker. Worst manager. Worst owner. Unhygenic place.

Property facility is nonsence n caretaker doesn't know any thing,moving arround property in lungi like a dhauka,just loss of money

This is absolutely wastage of money,price is as like 5star but service and facilities is like hell.service is not there
