Hotel Patra Palace (Lodge and Restaurant)

This hotel is wonderful, its location is very good. The staff here is very supportive and of friendly nature. Room was neat and clean.

Pathetic experience with staff. They are very rude and shown their inhumane nature by charging unnecessarily for using the washroom.

Property is not safe for couples, please don't visit. Giving one start so that i can post the review.

NOTE: THIS HOTEL IS NEITHER A SAFE PLACE FOR FAMILIES NOR FOR COUPLES.||I HAVE CHECKED IN TO HOTEL PATRA PALACE, KONARK ON OCT 27TH, 2023, WITH MY FAMILY. AFTER CHECKING IN, THE HOTEL OWNER AND MANAGER FORCED ME TO CANCEL AGODA BOOKING AS THEY DID NOT WANT TO PAY COMMISSION TO AGODA. THEY FORCED ME TO PAY MORE THAN THE BOOKING AMOUNT, SAYING THAT IF I WANT AN AC ROOM, I NEED TO PAY MORE, WHEREAS MY BOOKING WAS FOR AN AC ROOM. THEY WERE RESISTANT TO GIVING THAT, EVEN AFTER SHOWING THE AC ROOM BOOKING IN THE AGODA APP. I WAS WITH MY FAMILY, SO TO AVOID ARGUMENT WITH THE HOTEL MANAGER, I HAD TO PAY MORE AND TAKE THE ROOM. THEY ALWAYS ASKED FOR CASH AND REFUSED ONLINE TRANSACTIONS. I WAS HAVING LESS CASH, SO I HAD TO PAY HALF IN CASH AND OTHER HALF VIA UPI TO THE PROPERTY OWNER. THEY SHOWED THEIR TRUE COLOR AFTER I PAID THE MONEY. THEY FORCED ME TO CANCEL MY BOOKING FROM AGODA OR LEAVE THE HOTEL WITHOUT EVEN GETTING THE REFUND. HOTEL MANAGER WAS RUDE AND EVEN USED SLANGS IN FRONT OF MY WIFE. I DON'T DO UNETHICAL PRACTICES, SO I DID NOT CANCEL THE BOOK AND CONSIDERED THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY. I HAD TO LEAVE THE HOTEL WITHOUT ARGUING. AS A PROOF, I HAVE THE RECORDING OF THE DISCUSSION BETWEEN HOTEL MANAGER AND MYSELF. IN THE VOICE RECORDING HE HAD ACCEPTED THAT THAY HAVE TAKEN THE MONEY FROM ME. I ALSO HAVE THE UPI SCREENSHOT, WHERE I HAVE PAID MONEY TO OWNER "PALLASH CHANDRA PATRA". I RAISED A CONCERN TO AGODA CUSTOMER SUPPORT BUT DID NOT GET A PROPER RESOLUTION.||ISSUED IN PUBLIC INTEREST

Most worst place I ever stay. The owner don't have any value of his word. They do not provide hot water..no transportation from the hotel... Not even a shop around this place.. The owner always busy to pull out your money. If you want a peaceful trip don't even try to stay over here.

This is not a hotel, it is just a fraud, people there are only to loot you. This is nothing more than a fraud and do not even think about taking a room there. The experience there was a nightmare for me, i had booked the hotel from oyo, little did i know about the conditions. Also all the pics here are fake and the actuall scenario is so worse that after seeing that we were not able to stay more than 5 min in that room. They had taken our Aadhar cards and did not even returned it even though we declined to stay their, they demanded 5000 rupees from us to give it back. We had booked it from oyo and made all the payments but refused to let us in until we cancel it from oyo and give him cash. We were refused to see the room until we give him adhaar and check in and after that we were only able to get away after paying him. Also the place was so bad that no transportation, no shops and nothing to get away from their easily. THIS IS A FRAUD PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY ROOM HERE

Please don't go, they're really big fraud, service very worst, they charge you more money and force you. Always behave like local Gunda.

They have options of parties and bonfires. They serve delicious food. The issues are a very slow service.
