Sand City Resort

Extremely well placed and startegically located. The sea view is worth noticing and they have na large balcony area for group meets. The staffs are well behaved. Food is available according to one's choice. The rooms are good, not luxurious. It is a pocket friendly option for all. For a day or two this is a good choice within a low budget. If you are willing to spend a luxurious night then this might not be a good choice.

The first half of my stay was promising; the second half disappointing. Check-in was pleasant. I was allocated an attractive and good value room that looked out to the beach in the mid-distance. (From the property there is a clear path through marshy ground and plastic waste to get onto the beach). Very good internet. Bottled water included in the very reasonable tariff. Unfortunately, my stay was spoilt by the arrival mid-afternoon of a microbus of guests who took over the property. They were particularly loud and boorish until late, and their behaviour was condoned by management.

The behavior of the staff is very polite. Rooms are neat and clean. Kitchen is on the 1st floor. In front of the kitchen, there's a wide verandah facing the sea. 6 tables with 4 chairs are placed. Eating can be enjoyed with the breeze of the sea. Rents are pocket-friendly. If you opt for Chandipur I recommend this resort.

Worst service. Bad behavior of staff. Dinner not available in night. Room not clean. Geezer not working. Tv Electric cut by staff at night.

The hotel is excellent in location. 500m away from busy area. The extreme vicinity to the sea beach. There is a large balcony with tables and chairs from where one can enjoy the sea view and sunrise with a cup of tea . Food is served on that balcony on prior orders. Rooms are nice, clean, spacious with clean and spacious toilets. The proprietor is very polite and he is very keeps his words. He doesn't mislead or make guests misinformed. Highly recommended.

The location is awesome. You just come out of the room and watch the calm sea. We spent most of our time just sitting in the porch watching the sea and enjoying the breeze. The beach is hardly 50mts from the resort. The property is comparatively new and the rooms are with basic amenities. The food is good and homely. A small but well placed to have a relaxing getaway.

The reason for giving 2 stars is that the owner promised us that he had a sea view room available, only then we booked, and when we reached at night, we found that we had been cheated, sea view room was not available. Only 2 rooms or something are sea view on this hotel, and we were not given either of these rooms even after specifically confirming that we were being allotted a sea view room. Otherwise, the hotel was quite clean, location is great, a wide sea view from the parking and lobby, and rooms were spacious, hospitality was good.

Good location, you get to see the distant beach right from the balcony. As of now, rooms are situated only on ground floor, and 1st floor under construction. Food prices are good, 100 veg thali, 200 for prawn only, honestly the chicken curry could have been less spicy.
