Basanta Convention

We stayed one night here during our road trip from Bangalore to Kolkata and had a great experience. The hospitality was excellent -- right from booking via WhatsApp to a smooth and hassle-free checkout. We chose the three-bedroom option, which was spacious and well-furnished with wardrobes and all basic necessities. The attached washroom was slightly small but very clean and didn't have any unpleasant odors. The dinner and complimentary breakfast were both delicious. The reception staff even helped arrange a paid car wash on request, which was a nice touch. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay -- would definitely recommend and revisit!

Spacious venue . But the staff are really unethical regarding payment issues. They couldn't even wait for the wedding to end and started asking for rest of the payment even before the bride has entered the venue .

My preference of stay in Balasore is this hotel. Food is ok. Rooms are good and have all the amenities. Would recommend.

Hi Visitors, I am here with a new review on the Basanta Convention, Balasore. Information : The location is a little bit outside the town but it is peaceful. It is an all-in-one place for marriage parties, meetings, room stays etc. Huge parking space available for two wheelers and four wheelers. The staff is polite, friendly and responsive. In-built restaurant also available here for your parties or if you are staying here don't worry about food. My check-in and check-out was very smooth. The manager was very cooperative. The room was clean and hygienic. Perfect space for all types of visitors. I had booked a Budget double bed room online. When I reached the Manager said my room was occupied due to some problem and he gave me an Executive deluxe room without any extra charges. It proves how they care about hospitality seriously. You can call the manager over the phone from the Google map or chat with them. The chat response was too fast and Chinmay Behera was very supportive. Their food quality was awesome and the price was affordable. You can customise the food according to your requirements like spicy or not, more gravy etc. Both Veg and Non-veg foods are allowed here. I have tried Veg items this time and my experience was superb. This place is couple friendly. Unmarried couples are allowed with valid ID proofs. It has own internet facility. So you will get good Wifi network in your room. Payment method - Cash, Card & UPI I have only room images. I forgot to take pictures of the exterior. Outside town limits. Peaceful, Spacious Garden n Food area. Ample space to accommodate Mandap, Reception, Food, Activity, Entry Passage with setbacks. At present day, a huge disadvantage is the access road from Main Road. It's narrow n in horrible condition. Once it is ready it won't have any other glitches.

Basanta Convention is a charming resort situated in a village near Balasore town. Surrounded by stunning scenery, the resort offers a pollution-free atmosphere for a refreshing experience. The spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, along with well-maintained toilets, enhance the overall stay. Additionally, the expansive outdoor party area, equipped with a sizable stage, provides a beautiful setting for performances and events.

All good things to share about this place. It's got a large lawn area outside with a roofed car parking area. The hotel itself is good with huge rooms furnished with sofas, chairs, a large king sized bed, wardrobe, dressing table, television with set top box, water heating kettle with cups, glasses, and toiletries provided that include shampoo, shower gels, toothbrush with toothpaste, one bath soap, and a comb. They provide free bottled drinking water. The bathrooms are neat, clean, and hygienic. They also provide bathroom slippers too. The service is prompt with kind and friendly staff, the food served is tasty and good. The hotel also provides free WiFi. All in all, a good experience!

Nicely constructed property. It's more of a centre of arranged programs and public gatherings than a Hotel..as in my view. Cleanliness ,openness large parking space attract attention. Dining space/ restaurant is somewhat small but has a big sized menu offerings. Food was okay although we didn't get to explore much menus. Thing to mention here is the toilet size which is quite small and no exhaust fitted which is a disadvantage ( we were in 3 bedded rooms) . Also the complementary breakfast service was not upto the mark because they provide only 1 menu with no chance of change.
