Panchajanya Hotel

Our room was on the 4th floor, and there was no lift. Rooms seem old but are well maintained. Parking is available beside the hotel. But it's not that big. If you park behind someone else's car you may have to move it when required. At last about food, there's complementary breakfast available. And what we ordered in our room was very nice. You must try their Chicken 65, it was great. I have had veg fried rice once or twice in my life, I tried it here again. Surprisingly it was also very good.

I asked them to parcel chilli chicken and upon reaching home, I discovered they gave mixed veg. Kind of a hospitality business are they running if they message up the order.

It's just a place where you can stop and stay if needed. However, be confident in your driving skills, as you'll need to park your vehicle in a very cramped space. That's all.

The hotel looks nice from outside and at the first glance seems fancy. It's a multi storey property with no lifts. The stairs however are wide and nice. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The room I was given had an issue with the AC that they couldn't fix hence it never worked so that way the service was bad. The staff however was courteous, patient and helpful in general. The television had only a handful of Oriya channels and no other channels were working so essentially it was useless for us. The food was good. Almost all the dishes we ordered tasted nice. The cleaning staff was almost always present and maintained the hotel well. The overall experience was okay and could be better.

I entered here after long sixteen years gap. From 1993 to 2006 I along with my family and children frequently used to take dinner. There is a nostalgia about the hotel. Food is delicious. Environment is neat and clean. Behavior of the staff are very polite.

This is my first experience in balasore and lot of search I booked this hotel with the help of my local colleague. Room is clean and spacious as I booked bigger room but mosquitoes in room can be tolerated. Also bathroom space is very small. Hot water is not as per expected it should be. So if ur travelling in winter better be careful. Staffs are very good and polite, but thats cant be enough. Complimentary breakfast is not available moreover only 4 items are available on breakfast for veg and non veg. So i thought whether paying the amount which i paid was worth? They provide 24 hrs check out which is good for one cmg late. Moreover this hotel is not available on any online hotel booking sites, I booked as it is near to station and I need to catch train again for my next tour to cuttack

Hotel is at good location, but service and maintenance very poor. There are licking taps, drainage pipes, linens not and even a cup of tea takes 45mins. To get served. Food quality though good but exorbitantly priced, due to excessive quantity. One plate of anything can be served to 3 people. For a single person, lot of food wastage
