Willis Wellington Hotel

Service was really nice and pleasant, the staff really do their job well. Location is great. Unfortunately the rooms are not very nice at all. Very old, dingy, outdated. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Also nice to have a fridge but unfortunately the room is just so bad overall. Washroom is old and not relaxing. It was also quite hot but no AC, so we kept the window open and there were trucks and other street noises all night. We only stayed one night so overall not horrible but I would not stay here again, and suggest that if you can stretch the budget then do it. It's just not worth saving a few bucks to stay here. To management/ownership, I highly suggest you invest some money and bring this property up to standards. Thanks.

The guy at the entrance was very kind, but the hotel's service was quite incomplete. There were no towels for showering, nor shampoo or conditioner (there was only one product that claimed to work as soap, shampoo, and conditioner). The bathroom also had no mats. The blackout curtains were brown from all the moisture. The room's windows were sealed and couldn't be opened, making it unbearably hot. The only fan available worked only after we hit it several times; otherwise, it wouldn't turn on. Disappointing.

Start off with the good - decent location. Bed was pretty comfortable. We requested an early check in which wasn't granted which was disappointing. Had to pay extra for parking which I wasn't expecting. Black mould Unclean room Rippled carpet which was a trip hazard

Cheapest hotel I found in the heart of Wellington with "good enough" when it comes to cleanliness of the room. we stay here for 5days and 4nights and we did enjoyed our stay here. $20 Parking fee per day in the Hotel ain't bad compare to others and you can leave it there all day and go walk around the city. You can just walk from the hotel to TOP MUST VISIT PLACE in welly like CABLE CAR and WELLINGTON MUSEUMS. 15-20 minutes walk and you're there! you can enjoy all day without worrying about your car if where you need to park it since there is a parking fee on every inch of welly.. whew!

Asked for a king bedroom, room itself was an ok size however they had pushed 2 single beds together that had different mattress heights/firmness. If your booking a room through a third party like agoda and want a car park (which you have to pay $28 a day for btw) any requests you ask for through the third party website/app doesn't go to the vendor. Make sure to call after youve booked to book in a carpark.

Be careful....We had a terrible experience at this hotel. They charged an additional fee for parking, but our car was damaged while parked in their designated spot. The hotel management was uncooperative and refused to take any responsibility, leaving us to cover the repair costs. While the room was acceptable, the blankets and bed sheets had a strong unpleasant odor, making the stay uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Very small car park for the size of the hotel, was full when we got there and we had to park miles away. If you need it, prebook it. ||The WiFi didn't work. Kept booting me off on my phone and laptop. The receptionist asked me to take my phone down several times to fix it, he called the IT company and it still kept kicking me off and when it did work, it was so slow. ||Our corridor smelt of drugs, we told reception and they didnt care. ||I wouldn't return here ever.

Booked using Agoda. Advertisement stated (in bulletpoints) 'Free parking'. After booking, immediately called to confirm there is free parking as I was moving all of my possessions in my car. Reception responded, 'there is no parking available, you can park at Wilsons down the road' (an open carpark). Refused refund even though the parking situation is clearly not as advertised. Rooms are poorly kept and give asbestos vibes, not really worth the price. Genuinely the worst experience I have had at paid accommodation, but at least I wasn't robbed!
