Wellington Panorama B&B

Greatest stay in NZ! My husband and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed it a lot. The view from the room was stunning, the breackfast was a feast and Peg's company was so much fun. Peg is simply adorable. She took so good care of us and made us feel like home. We already miss her a lot!

Staying here is more like visiting a well loved relative than a commercial transaction. Peg is a wonderful hostess and you are a guest in her home and made to feel welcome as one. Taxis into Wellington are not bad price wise and there are a substantial variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from in downtown.

A small B&B tucked away in the hills overlooking Wellington harbour, finding it is part of the adventure. The views from the picture windows in the bedroom and guest's lounge area are really lovely.||||Complimentary tea, coffee and cookies are always available and Peg is a gregarious host who is only too happy to advise on places to eat and things to do around Wellington.She also arranged for a cheap taxi to take us down to the city for dinner which meant we could relax and not bother about navigating the narrow winding lanes back to Panorama.||||A friendly, welcoming B&B.

Lovely clean B&B with great views over the harbour (but not the city centre) & close to the Mt Victoria lookout. Standard bedroom with a shared bathroom. But fair to say that Peg is the highlight of staying here & her breakfast is simply delicious! Highly recommend.

What a lovely B&B owned by the wonderful Peg. She is so welcoming and hospitable which makes the windy, mountain drive up to her B&B completely worth it! The views are amazing from Panorama B&B across to Wellington. Would thoroughly recommend Peg's B&B and thank you for a brilliant stay in your home.

I brought one of my sons to Wellington to do his undergad at Victoria University. Prg Mackay, owner of Panorama, was the first Kiwi I had ever met.||||Peg was a great hostess and took great of my son and I. She even helped my son move his furnishings into his school living quarters.||||Peg took us to the movies and even drove me to the airport so my son culd see me off back to the States.||||I can't say enough about Peg and her lovely B&B. Such a caring, giving woman.

Strongly suggest you eliminate consideration of staying at the Wellington Panorama B&B in Roseneath. What we found was not what was promised. The house was a mess with crap everywhere. Peg, while a nice lady, clearly was not well and yet wanted us to stay. We did not. I suggest you find someplace else to stay. The people who gave positive reviews had a much different experience than we did.

Out of words with Wellington, at the beggining when my flight landed my first impression at the airport was.. this going to bee pretty boring. But when I took the first taxi I started to see how wonderful and unique that city was. Every corner is unique, Wellington is a perfect city to go jogging. Enjoy!
