The Sebel Wellington Thorndon

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything is new and fresh and modern! It has a really nice shower and a big bed. It's also super close to the ferry, so easy if you have to cross early in the morning or late in the evening. Our view was lovely. We could see part of the harbour, the trains and a bit of the city, but it wasn't noisy at all!

Fantastic experience. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is modern and well appointed. Home away from home. I had visitors who were also impressed and plan to stay at the Sebel in Thorndon on thier next visit. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Wellingtons treasure.

Great little hotel to stay at in Wellington. Clean and comfortable inside, good service and location is convenient for a short walk into town. Price was also good for the type of hotel.

This is a great hotel, am guessing pretty new everything seems in very good order and not tired at all. Decent size room with all amenities you need whether self catering or not, even a dishwasher! Great location out of the hustle and bustle but still walking distance to everything and very handy if you're catching an early morning ferry. Very affordable for what you're getting, i can think of many more expensive that would not offer this standard. Thanks will be back

Nicely furnished, spacious room with kitchen and everything you need. The location wasn't bad either, we walked there from downtown.

This place was good, clean & friendly with well equipped rooms but the one down side was that something on the outside of the building rattled with every gust of Wellington wind - all through the night. Hopefully management read this and fix it.
