The reviews online were mostly good but upon arrival, the room was so dirty especially the bathroom! Mould every where. The toilet seat was broken, no locks all been removed. Cigarette burns on the bedding. Toddler high chair covered in mould. Curtain backings mouldy. Ripped stained carpet. The room door only locks from the outside so not child friendly as they can escape.. room service did replace towels daily but that was it. Bed was made at the top but not the sheets?( we did not expect them to be made but thought it was odd the top was dont but sheets all hanging? It was all very strange. Receptionist did not seem to care when i pointed things out. Even before our arrival i phoned to ask if the room had a kettle etc and was advised to look online as she simply wouldnt tell me. The receptionist was very rude. I sent an email to the accommodation with photos regarding the room and our stay and did not get a response. Nor was anything credited! Would NOT recommend this place at all. Very dirty. Even the rubbish bins outside piled up high and the place smells so musty. Carpets stained throughout.

I stayed two nights here. I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep as the room looked out onto a busy road and was right opposite the hospital, but surprisingly they were the best nights sleep I had on my trip. It's within walking distance of everything you need, including the zoo, and WEKA (which you have to visit) is only a short drive away. Unfortunately our room was next to the managers and I have no idea what she was doing but there was banging each night until about 9pm

Very clean and comfortable premises inside and out, very friendly and helpful hosts. The beds were nice and comfortable and we loved the spa bath. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wellington. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Booked via booking.com! I would not stay here if you have family or friends in hospital. Very uncooperative with change of dates. Had to pay for a non refundable night when a surgery was changed until the following week. I was told there was availability for the following week however I would have to also pay for the night I originally booked. Did not end up staying here but had to pay for night. It was a horrible circumstance and was hoping for a little kindness.

When you check in they also want a deposit of 100$. That's after you have paid for the room. |Beware this is a scam. I would not stay here again. |Not a nice place to stay. |Rooms old and smelly. Beds not comfortable. |Not a level place. Stairs up and down just to get to room

Clean rooms with very friendly service in a great location for a reasonable price. We stay here every time we come to Wellington

I dont recommend this place, stay away ( as per alot of the other reviewd). I booked and gave them my card as a confirmation.|They put $100 deposit on the room which wasnt declared at booking , we turned up and paid the room bill. I asked about the $100, the lady said we would get it back when we leave. Three days after getting home it still wasnt returned, so my husband phoned. The man (manager) was very abusive and said he was going to f..... your wife and your daughter. Absoutley appaling. |The rooms are a good size but dated and the chairs and couching absolutely filthy. |Cleaning staff were friendly.

Room was not upto standards also the receptionist lady was very rude. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The way she treated me and my family like trash was appalling. Only good thing about it was that it's straight across the road from the hospital. But other than that I give this place a 0 out of 10. Much better service at a motel in the city for much cheaper and better friendly services.
