Sojourn Apartment Hotel - Riddiford

On arrival staff were very pleasant and well organized making the check-in very quick and efficient. Having a welcome on the TV as you walk into the room with chocolates were great. The room was very clean, tidy and extremely well presented. The negatives were, the room was very tiny - an internal room with a high window from the corridor, situated next to the laundry which had the hum of washing machine and dryer late into the night. The AVR system was situated next to my room so had constant drone all night and the only light into the room was light from the corridor that had a sensor light triggering light into my room late into the night as well. This petite room (18m2) was more expensive than a Deluxe King room with more space and less obtrusiveness.

I stayed with my family in Le Grand Two Bedroom Apartment. We used Airbnbs for most of our trip, but Sojourn was a comparable price for accommodation in Wellington. The location was a bit out from the city centre (a 30 min walk), but on a bus route or a NZD$15 Uber to the train station. The staff were very helpful in storing our luggage as we arrived before our room was ready. They quickly provided a new swipe card when one didn't work when they showed us to our room. They were very helpful calling a taxi for us early in the morning. Fantastic service. The room was on the ground floor, with the 2 bedrooms sharing a wall with the street front. It wasn't too noisy for us. Kitchenette had everything needed for a simple dinner. And hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee! Overall, a great stay with the highlight being the lovely staff.

My husband needs to stay in Wellington Hospital and I needed a place to stay with my young one. Comfort and cleanliness meant a lot to me, given that I am under a lot of emotions so a place to relax and reenergise is really necessary.||Really glad that I've enquire at Sojourn, kudos to Paolo, who was so helpful and accommodating during this moment! ||The location is just across the hospital, 1 min walk to woolworths and cafes, which makes it a perfect place to stay in for couple of night! Price is reasonable as well!||The room is stunningly clean, in immaculate condition! The welcome note, the small details (esp the chocolates!), everything is just perfect. ||Thank you so much Sojourn, would highly recommend to all those people looking for a place to stay --short or long term!

We travelled last minute for a family medical emergency to Wellington Hospital. Sojourn has been an absolute sanity saver! Definitely one of the best hotels in Wellington! Directly over the road from the hospital, meaning we can easily pop over and back throughout the day and night, as needed. Travelling with a family member in his 90's had its challenges but all the staff have been lovely at all times. Fully equipped rooms, and the supermarket within a few minutes walk, so we've been able to cook meals and look after the family. The MVP has been Hannah on the front desk, from our first phone call to every interaction, she's been exceptionally friendly, caring and professional at all times. She's gone out of her way to assist us and we're so grateful making a hard time a lil' easier. The rooms are spacious, light and so clean! Housekeeping is on point. We honestly cannot fault anything! I almost want to travel to Wellington just to stay here

Had to make a last minute booking due to a family medical issue. So lovely and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Remembered what our specific requests were from last time, like car park, bed selection etc and asked if we needed the same again. |At a very stressful time it was like coming home. Such a great location. Was able to get what I needed from the close by supermarket. Beds and pillows so comfortable. Love being able to cast to the TV and watch my favorite's. |Staff again so amazing and helpful and so lovely and friendly. Having to unexpectantly stay the night close to hospital the laundry facilities were a huge plus. |Will keep coming back.

Our accommodation in Wellington at Sojourn apartment hotel was amazing. Could no fault anything from arriving to leaving. Staff were friendly and attentive of everything you needed. Rooms are tidy and well kept. Location was perfect for what we needed right across from the hospital and buses out the front. Off street parking is also available. Would highly recommend

The accommodation was very well located for my work. Reception and cleaning staff I spoke with were exceptionally helpful, responsive and friendly. My apartment had a comfortable bed and was quiet (at back of hotel). Facilities and tools to make my meals were in the room and I had a table to eat/work at. Highly recommend.

We traveled from Auckland and needed accommodation in Wellington. We were very impressed with our stay .The room was clean, much more spacious than we expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The service provided was excellent, and the cost was amazing, especially for travellers who are on a budget. Definitely one of the best hotels in Wellington for its price.
