Sofitel Wellington

Such a wonderful hotel in the Windy City. I booked through Amex and received additional perks. First tip, get Executive Lounge Access as part of your room perk. It costs more but is well worth it. This is a wonderful service Sofitel offers, it includes high tea with light snacks and beverages . They also offer a happy hour which features select wines, beer and other beverages. The room was wonderful. I had a corner room and it had a picture perfect view of the picturesque homes on the hill. The room was spacious, the bed was some of the best sleep I had during my vacation. The bathroom was large and very modern. The breakfast was good. We stayed for dinner and the signature pork belly dish is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional. Just a perfect stay.

I was unexpectedly stuck in Wellington and ended up staying at the Sofitel, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to be. From the moment I arrived, the staff were outstanding. Reception was warm and welcoming, concierge service was first-rate, and every effort was made to make my stay comfortable. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed: a sanctuary. Room service was prompt, and the food was excellent. Honestly, this is one of the better hotels in Wellington: a solid 10 out of 10. I'll be back.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 14th floor and very quiet and comfortable. We used the executive lounge which came with our room. It was great for a couple of drinks and a light bite to eat in the late afternoon early evening. Overall this is a lovely place to stay and we will definitely stay again in the future.

Rooms were modern, bed and pillows very comfortable, room contained all the amenities one would need. Turn down service was a nice touch, provided with tea and chocolates every night. Staff were amazing, everyone greeted us with a smile and catered to our every need, and even arranged for a traditional spicy tea to be made for us which we requested and was not on their bar menu. Overall a great stay and would definitely return in the future.

The staff/ambassadors make this hotel. The high level of training is evident. Our junior suite was very well appointed. The breakfast option was extremely good. I can't identify one thing I would change. Excellent.

As a solo traveller I had a fantastic experience at Sofitel (Wellington) across two nights. All of the Sofitel team were so friendly, polite, courteous, and customer satisfaction focused. I had an upgraded (on check in) room on the 12th floor that was huge, had a good space to work from (I needed to work), plenty of room to exercise (there is a gym as well), and the bed was really comfortable. I used the restaurant both nights (the food was excellent, as were the drinks) and for breakfast and I have to give special mention to the main host for breakfast on both mornings, who went out of his way to provide outstanding service. I stayed Thurs March 13th & Fri March 14th. I also used the valet parking which was easy & seamless. The car was ready to go at the time I requested on my departure day. The hotel is in a great location to explore the city, harbour, and business district. Thank you to all at Sofitel (Wellington)!

Room was very comfortable. The bathroom was really good - well designed. However, we had to have the toilet repaired twice during our stay. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Really great hotel. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Has a luxurious and high end vibe to it. Really appreciate Sergio for his warm and friendly service and excellent advice for exploring Wellington. Luca was outgoing really helpful when my wife suffered a sprained ankle, and we always looked forward to breakfast at the hotel restaurant thanks to Jossy - who clearly had a knack for making the customers feel welcome with her warm and fun personality.
