Rydges Wellington

Regal Rydges Wellington|This was a beautiful Rydges to stay in. The room I had was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for the night. The bed was warm and cozy. The bedding was sufficient and pillows were perfect.| |The bathroom was very spacious and the shower pressure was excellent.| |The aircon wasn't too loud and kept the room at a comfortable temperature.| |I enjoyed the very extensive breakfast in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed it.| It was a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The room was comfy, clean and everything worked fine. |Swimming pool was great but it can get a bit dark in there as there aren't many lights and only one end has windows. |Breakfast was nice and plentiful.| |Could do with an additional self serve coffee machine as it got very busy. |We had to wait a bit in the foyer for check in after 3pm which was a shame. |Good location and great views high up of the beehive if you're on the right side!

My family favorite hotel in Wellington is Rydges Hotel. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. The bar is a nice place to relax, and it's perfect for families during school holidays, with free candy and plenty of activities. The rooms may be older and tired, but the pool area is fantastic. You can enjoy the sauna, relax in the spa, and have fun in the pool. If you want a vacation with kids at great prices, Rydges Hotel is the place to go!

For $610 for 2 nights king room with city views. Unfortunately got to stay here another night as booked through booking.com On the 10th floor can hear ever car and person on the street and our view is of a digital advertisement board. But yet on ground level restaurant has sound proof glass can't hear the cars Very shocking experience very small room with a heat pump bolted to the floor. Stayed here before COVID was great and quite and better views, better rooms and better beds back then gone down hill

The hotel looked good at the reception, but the room was a bit old. We had stains on the bedding and decorative pillow covers. Bathroom didn't have toothpaste or cotton pads, so you better be prepared. The window view was okay, but a little noisy. Location was good though.

Convenient before the ferry. We stayed there the night before we embarked on the crossing. The restaurant and the meals were of good quality and the restaurant staff was very professional, kind, helpful. We had a good family reunion for a very special birthday.

Would definitely stay here again, the room we were given was so spacious, very comfy bed, big bathroom and good shower. Coffee machine in room was welcomed in the morning and when asked if we could have a slightly later checkout than 10am as we were rather late checking in it wasn't an issue. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect if u are coming from the train station or have business in the cbd to do.

Fantastic. Arrived early in the morning well before check in to drop our bags off. Front of house had our room ready and checked us straight in. Great piece of service and common sense. The bar is fantastic and the bar tender was brilliant also. Highly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay and 10 minutes from Sky Stadium and TSB arena.
