Conveniently located around the ferry terminals, railway station, and stadium, Quest on Thornton is a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all necessities and amenities provided. The staff were professional and courteous in spite of my very late check-in. I would highly recommend Quest on Thornton if you want to stay in the area.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're going to watch some sport at the Cake Tin. Possibly not so ideal if you want to go drinking afterwards but that's not a concern for my wife and I. Really quiet, comfortable and clean, with good water pressure in the shower. A good place to stay
This hotel is absolutely lovely! It is comfortable, light, modern and the staff is super friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. It's not very close to the city centre, but close to the ferry, so that's very nice if you have to board at seven in the morning.
The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the station so it is really convenient for both the station and the Interislander ferry (as there is a free bus that takes you from the station to the ferry). |We arrived after 7.00pm so had to ring a buzzer outside. Unfortunately there were roadworks outside that made it impossible to hear the announcement on the end. That was obviously not the hotels fault. Luckily for us the duty manager turned up pretty quickly and we gained access to our room which was clean, quiet and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Excellent location suited our commute to required places. Rooms are very tidy and well equipped for our week long stay. Good facilities and very helpful staff as well. City Fitness gym is right next door. There's some arrangement for gym use if you're staying. Please check with reception on details. If you book directly with Quest, you get to airports as well! How neat is that! Being next to the port it's amazingly quiet too!
Price-Value is very good, BUT the parking is a bit difficult in the area, we weren't aware you need to reserve your hotel parking spot well in advance, hence we paid quite some money at a parking lot nearby. The ventilator in the bathroom is hilariously loud and has a crazy runtime (10 mins or so). We used a torch at night to prevent the noise. Whoever has installed this hasn't stayed there himself. Location is quite handy, close to a bus stop, but town center can be reached in a good walk as well (20mins or so).
Spacious, clean with well equipped kitchen. Location is 15 min walking distance to waterfront but it's a nice walk. Parking is outdoors, opposite apartment block but you can drive up right outside the place to unload- it would be helpful that they mention this in the booking confirmation email. We had no problems with it being in unsecured carpark- receptionist did say they had cctv.
Room is comfortable. Location is great. Disappointed with having to pay $25 for a dedicated parking and to return at 11pm at to find the front desk staff gave it away to another client leaving you without a parking that you pay for. Totally unacceptable behaviour with the explanation that they experienced an issue and making their issue yours. Then indicate to you to use another parking that your car auto park indicate as too small. Think twice to book at this facility if you travel by car.
