We stayed here for three weeks and it met our needs well. Firstly I just want to give a mention to the two members of the team on the front desk Mikayla and the new member of staff. They were both friendly, welcoming and very attentive. They dealt with our requests, printed things out for us and saw to any issues we had. Honestly they were fantastic and a credit to the company and actually added to our stay. The rooms suited our needs well, nice bed, a tv, a sofa, air con, a hob and a separate bathroom. The only downsides with the room itself was the tv is next to the bed which makes it a little far to watch from the sofa and an awkward angle if watching from the bed but it's still do able. There's only two hobs, and so if you use a frying pan the other hob becomes unusable as the pan covers the second hob. A chopping board would also be nice. The cleaners were lovely and did take care of our room replenishing things, however for those who stay longer such as us, we would have liked to have the room cleaned a little deeper (such as hoover and bathroom wipe down) after each week or half way through our stay. The hotel itself was nice, very tidy in communal areas, however our hallway did smell a bit of people's cooking. The hotel can be slightly noisy at weekends even though a 10pm noise rule is in place. Overall, the hotel is great for what it is, yes it's not a five star hotel, but it's pleasant, the staff are very friendly, it's in a great location, and it's very good value for money. The negatives I put didn't overly affect our stay, it's more for awareness.

We booked 'superior studio' and there was nothing superior abt this hotel or room or service. We stayed from sat- tue here, we checked out on wed mrng. Our room was small and was cleaned on Tuesday mrng only during this 4 night stay. They do not hv cleaning/ housekeeping staff on public holidays. We were never told about this news and were unable to understand the logic behind it and I wonder why do they rent a room without staff on public holidays? Not sure. We had no toilet paper or new towels for 3 days. On Tuesday when room was finally cleaned, our bedsheets were still not changed.||Room stinks, dehumidifier was on when we came into our alloted room. We always kept our balcony door open in order to breathe. ||There was no reception staff available after 5pm which we were aware of but apparently a Manager is always available on site for later checkins or other urgent matters. When we called at later hours on reception, it went thru to contact centre.||Also, u can't sit in bed and watch TV coz of the placement of TV in the room. We hvnt watched TV during our stay. There is a shelf above TV (pic enclosed) which was pretty useless and made it difficult to get out of bed as u might hit ur head on it.||Car park costs $25/day (extra).||Dont waste ur money and spoil your holiday by staying here.
Unfortunately our visit to Quest Atrium was pretty disappointing. Check-in took about 20-25 minutes and 4 phone calls to the "24/7 staffed" after hours line, even though they acknowledged our late check-in request (6-7pm on a Saturday, for context) The rooms might've been great a few years ago, but it's clear that it hasn't had a deep clean since then. Our bed was place no less than 20-30cm from the door which just felt...odd. Furniture is nice, albeit crammed, and definitely didn't feel especially clean or new. The bathroom was frankly disgusting, with dirty/mouldy cracks and corners, paint and silicone peeling off, tiled floor was in need of a scrub. And this may have been the smallest shower I've ever seen in a hotel room. I guess there are worse options, but I wouldn't recommend here as we won't be returning.
Great for a quick stay before catching a ferry the next day. Room had everything that we needed including small kitchen set up, shower and laundry machine in unit. Parking was $25 for their garage and we were able to keep the car there after check out until we left later in the day.
Centrally located apartments on the Terrace. Use James Cook hotel elevators to / from Lambton Quay. 17 minutes walk to Wellington Station in one direction and around 24 minutes to Te Papa, in the other direction. Woolworths supermarket is at the foot of James Cook entrance lane for those all-important supplies. The one bedroom apartment is big enough for two adults. The balcony was nice, overlooking the Terrace. It could be a little loud from those walking past if you are on the lower floors. The water pressure was excellent. The front loading washer / drier was extremely helpful. The receptionist was pleasant and was very helpful with the questions we had. We were happy with our stay and would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. Had a 1 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our needs. The gym and pool are a little walk away but were superb. The staff are kind and accommodating. We were given access to our room hours before the check in time and a staff member came to our room to show us where the heater was and set it up. I am very fussy and found the lounge a little tired but the facilities overall were of a good standard.
Had the best weekend away. Service and room standards were far beyond anything we expected. Clubs only a few blocks away.
I love the way of saying good morning to the city of Wellington. Staying here for the first time for business trip, very comfy apartment, spacious size and the balcony. Nice and clean with everything you want, powerful shower that's my wow factor. Easy access for you to walk to the main shopping district, reasonable rate, love it!
