This is an outstanding place to stay. Excellent service. Great location, with Woolworths a couple of doors away. Very close to the cable car. In suite laundry. Everything close by. Lots of different restaurants very close. Easily walkable for us old folks from the train station. Full kitchen. Comfy bed. Nice sheets and towels. Stayed 3 nights.Would definitely recommend this hotel. It's the nicest of the 7 we've stayed in, on the North Island.

I stayed here for 3 nights and found accomadation great. It had nice kitchen and all things you require for family holiday. It was close to supermarket a few doors down and next to cable car. Waterfront was 10 minute walk and plenty of eating and coffee cafes nearby. The staff at the quest were so helpful with anything I needed. I found this as perfect as you would expect for place to stay. Very enjoyable. |Definite 5 star.

Centrally located and very convenient. Our room was well equipped and maintained, and very clean. The staff were outstanding, everyone was friendly and helpful. Bless them, they even have proper coathangers & not the thief-proof ones that hotels love and visitors hate. A few nice touches such as a water dispenser and coffee machine at reception.||The location is especially convenient if you're a bus-user, as most routes go along Lambton Quay.

This was the nicest hotel from our holiday in NZ. From the moment we stepped in the door, service was excellent. Having a laundry machine in the room was a huge bonus to refresh our suitcase. Location was wonderful; we only walked a few minutes to get anywhere. Highly recommended hotel in Wellington!

My home away from home for 6 nights in Wellington, where I stayed for 6 nights in the studio apartment. The room was slightly on the smaller side, but I was quite amazed that they could fit everything you could ever need or want, and is a great fit for a solo traveller. There is a small but well-equipped kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher, there is also a Nespresso machine where capsules are replenished daily. Each room has its own washer and dryer in the bathroom as well; you do not need to cater your own laundry supplies, they are provided. Overall, I was really impressed with the apartment, and could really see myself living there longer-term. A really nice touch was the massive, and complimentary, movie selection, which provided for a lot of entertainment!||Location-wise, the hotel is very centrally located in Lambton Quay, which is the heart of the Wellington CBD, so there are lots of shops and eateries nearby. There even is a Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse a few doors down, and you are also somewhat next door to the Wellington Cable Car. It also takes just 7-10 mins of walking to reach the waterfront. There is also a bus stop right outside the building, but as I did not take the bus, I cannot really comment on that.||I found it really thoughtful that the staff bothered to communicate with me before my arrival. I arrived on a Saturday, which meant that hotel entrance was typically locked, so I really appreciated that the staff gave me clear instructions ahead of my arrival so that I would not be stranded or locked out. It made the entire check-in completely fuss- and stress-free, so I really appreciated that!

Contrary to our less than desirable stay at the Quest Rotorua and Glen Tasker's (manager) boiler plate response, the Quest 256 Lambton was such a refreshing treat. So, clearly my expectations were indeed "aligned", Glen. ||Modern, clean, comfortable and since the property itself is housed commencing on the 4th floor (reception) and l believe advance to the 8th, the room was very quiet. We were on the 6th floor.||It looks like a relatively new refurbishment w/state of the art equipment and streaming services. Khao (reception) provided an inviting and welcoming greeting and was quick to address and resolve an issue we had in the room. The highest of accolades to Khao for his leadership. ||The location was perfect. A stones throw from restaurants, the Wellington cable car which takes you directly to the Botanical Gardens, shopping and restaurants. ||Expectations were clearly met with this property and I would recommend without reservations.

We were so impressed with our stay. From the moment Quest sorted our reservation through to arrival and departure. Every touch point was never a problem and all staff were friendly and helpful. We had initially wanted a one bedroom but this property was super busy and we accepted a Studio. We were pleasantly surprised by the space and we didn't feel crowded at any time. Bed was super comfortable, excellent shower and toiletries. The kitchenette was spotless and we're impressed there was a Nespresso coffee maker too. Parking was easy, although access is a little tight. |We are discerning travellers and could not fault this property.

Very central location at a perfect halfway mark between the variety Wellington has to offer. Check in was a breeze and the room was stunning. Great for a short stop over if you're passing through the city.
