Ohariu Farm Cottage

We stayed at Ohariu Farm Cottage in Wellington on our wedding night, and it was the perfect retreat. Nestled in a serene, picturesque spot, it offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience--close enough to town yet surrounded by peaceful nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the beauty of the farm was an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-appointed. Breakfast the next morning was a lovely touch, providing a great start to our day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to Wellington!

Perfect getaway near Wellington! after a handful of times being here, this cottage is the serene escape just outside of Wellington, perfect for a solo retreat or a romantic getaway. The host is always friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I always have enjoyed my time here with my husband and love the peaceful walks nearby and appreciate the thoughtful breakfast supplies. The ideal spot to unwind, disconnect and recharge -highly recommend!

A haven for a rural mini break. Very comfy bed and everything you need to hunker down and chill out. Lovely rural outlook, fab waking up to the bird song. Thx for all the thoughtful touches.

Awesome place. I was lucky to stay there for almost 3 weeks with my dog. A bit far away however the service was great. I have arrived very late, and the host turned the lights for me, heated up the house before. Very nice welcoming

Way overpriced given the long drive to get there on narrow winding roads. TV not tuned in. Charges misrepresented on VRBO website.
