An excellent hotel with fine views of the CBD and harbour. The room had a king-size bed, and was bigger than the usual hotel room, I thought.||The view stretched across the harbour to the Hutt Valley and I loved being on holiday and watching the never-ending cars head in and out of the city on the Hutt Motorway (they were going to work, the poor things!)||The buffet breakfast was superb. With a wide variety of the usual breakfast fare and more, including fresh fruit drinks and 'home-made' omelettes by the always smiling cook. The restaurant has high-rise views of the city, out to Oriental Parade.||The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is right in the heart of Lampton Quay, with an elevator leading up to the lobby. The James Cook is big and welcoming and very affordable.||I'll make it my place to stay whenever I'm back in town.

Over night visit for the hurricanes game. Nice and tidy. They offer great packages. We got two rooms, 1pm check out, bottle of bubbly for each room, free parking and buffet breakfast included for $500 for both rooms. Great price! We did ask for rooms to be right next to each other and I stressed it a few times but we ended up a few rooms down and across the corridor.

The location of the hotel was good.. a lift from the lobby takes guests to Lambton Quay and the eateries. A ten minute walk will take you to the Cuba St eating precinct. Wellington cable car is literally next door. Our rooms were on higher floors and hence was quiet. The rooms was modern, well lighted, the bathroom clean and had modern fittings. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a decent hotel to explore Wellington.

Excellent conference venue. We held a 2 day conference in 2024 that was so well supported by our venue co-ordinator and the rest of the staff. The tech firm they work with was brilliant (we had international guest zooming in left right and centre); the food was excellent (no complaints at all from any attendee 9a first)); the rooms were set up in such good time with everything we needed, wanted and more. Everything (almost went ot plan); a speaker finished way to early right at the end of day one before our Network & Nibbles, was able to communicate quickly and effectively to bring the catering/drink/timing of that 20+mins before they were expecting. Efficient and cool in the face of a hiccup. The Network & Nibbles was excellently paced with tray food service and people grouping nad re-grouping that we the event went half an hour past time and we had to ask peeps to leave! our attendees commented on what a great conference we provided, in no small part to our support from the event co-oridnator and our combined work in the months leading up to it. She was able to give us very sound advice as numbers chopped and changed (in this financial environment); I felt in very, very safe hands.

The location of the hotel was good.. a lift from the lobby takes guests to Lambton Quay. The Wellingtin cable car is literally next door. We didn't park so can't comment. Our rooms were on higher floors and hence was quiet. The rooms looked modern. Overall a.decent hotel to explore Wellington.

We have just spent the night at this hotel 21.4.25 in room 1208 and we had a lovely welcome. Informed of everything we needed to know...so we thought. We get to the room it smelt of fresh paint. Not the best for sleeping in and the TV in the room kept losing signal.(informed them of this when we left). Beds were very comfy two in the room. The shower pressure was fantastic and well equipped room. When we checked out we were told that we had to pay $30.00 dollars for the car parking. We were NOT told this when we checked in and that was a huge oversight. So we got an apology thanks. But really not good enough. That's why I gave 3 stars.

We had an enjoyable stay here for 3 nights. The hotel is very easy to find and in a central location close to the cable car. Also a short drive to the Interislander ferry. Our executive room was comfortable. However, there is no in room safe and an antiquated system of storing valuables with reception is in place. There was only one bathrobe and as we didn't want to be charged for a "missing" one we reported this to reception only to be told they only provide one but we could request another. How strange when there are 2 guests. We were also surprised that there were NO drawers of any description. The only storage was a wardrobe. We had breakfast at the hotel but we're disappointed in the views from the restaurant. One can only see a fragment of the waterside through the high rise buildings of the CBD. The selection of food is the run of the mill buffet choice although eggs and pancakes could be cooked to order. There was enough choice for a decent start to the day.|Parking was straightforward but at a charge of 30 nd dollars a day.

Well positioned and well presented, we would definitely return to stay in the future. Recommend including the breakfast in your stay as there was something to please everyone, including a live cook station making to order. Rooms and common areas are elegantly modern and clean. Staff were friendly and eager to help. Cable car is next door and both town and wharf right there. An enjoyable stay that was too brief
