Capital View Motor Inn Motel

Couldn't recommend Capital View enough. From the second we entered, we were welcomed and well looked after by the owners (sadly, did not get their names). We were kindly given lots of tips for the rest of our travels, and even typed up and printed it out for us! It was clear that they were both very kind and generous people. Our room was tidy and clean, bed very comfy and handy having a kitchen too. We loved being able to use the TV in bed and relax and the views from the window of Wellington were cool too! I felt very at home and comfortable staying at Capital View. We would without a doubt stay here again!

I've visited Capital View twice now, and each time I've received outstanding and friendly service. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the motel's fantastic location made it easy to explore Wellington's city centre on foot. Sheila was especially welcoming and incredibly kind. I highly recommend this motel.

Stayed overnight in a Queen Studio room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. This will be our go-to place when back in Wellington. It's just a short walk down Cuba Strret to find a place for dinner. Of the multitude of eating places to choose from, we settled on JJ Murphy's Irish pub. We took advantage of their Monday special - selected meals at half price.

It was an unplanned stay as our ferry trip was cancelled and we have to disembark after 2 hours in the ship due to engineering issue. Anyways, I rang Capital view after I saw on booking.com app that they have free parking facility and almost sold out rooms. With room reserved off we go from the port. Took 11 minutes drive and no frills we checked in. The room given to us was not renovated yet clean with kitchenette, cooking and eating facilities available, shower was clean and comfortable bed. Our room was in 5th floor so overlooking city views, with lift available next to our room and few minutes walk to Cuba Street where we had dinner, it was nice and we got to distress from the earlier event. Afterwards, went back to the Motel to rest, closed all the windows to blocked off street and car noises. After watching youtube and netflix on what's likely a 50-inch smart Tv for almost 3 hours, I slept in the room (room comes with queen bed on main area where couch and dining table is then there is a room with 2 single bed) and next thing I knew it was time to wake up and get ready to go back to South Island via ferry. We definitely recommend Capital View Motor Inn and it is now on my list to stay in Wellington.

Good location. Spacious apartments. Windows needed cleaning and the lifts make a lot of bangs as they're being used by other guests.

We got the penthouse apartment, a large, clean and well-equipped apartment. Highly recommend to everyone.

I'm so happy to have discovered this great place to stay in the heart of Wellington. Free parking, lovely clean and spacious room, and close to Cuba Street and other great places to eat. Very comfortable and excellent value for money. Will definitely stay again.
