Over night stop over on way to Christchurch, room was nice and clean, bed super comfy, only downside to room was it smelt a little bit musty from been closed up, no complaints though, service was very good and location was good, only 15 minutes to the ferry terminal

Great location, spacious rooms and wonderful staff. Infact I left some of my personal belongings in the room and staff had it kept at front office fod5ne to collect it back. Highly recommended.

We had a really positive stay. We originally booked for one night and changed for two nights. The owner was lovely on the phone and provided all information before arrival. Great check in experience with a glass bottle of milk which I prefer as less wastage. We were taken to our king room where the air con was on for us so the room was warm and inviting. The bed had an electric blanket which was fabulous, nice and comfy bed and pillows. Parking was easy and close to our room. Yes there is a train that goes by and no it wasn't a problem, it's just part of life. Great shower pressure and big towels which were a welcoming bonus. Fresh towels were delivered each day when the room was serviced. The room was clean and had a great little kitchen with everything you needed. Check out was nice and easy. We will definitely be back. Everything only a short drive away and nice and close to get on to the motor way.

It was excellent except the location due to train sounds. In the middle of night you will be shocked and waked up by the sounds of the train going very close to your room.

The motel is amazing. Bed very comfortable. Great size bathroom/toilet. The unit was a generous size. Thank you to our host.

We stayed here for 3 nights, in an accessible unit. The room was lovely and clean. We were well serviced every day. There was everything we needed. The wet room shower was lovely, and had obviously been refurbished. We always enjoy staying here. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. The motel is very close to motorway connections.

Agree with lots of the reviews but it was clean if a bit dated. However when we saw the ear plugs on the bedside tables, it was a red flag for us. The noise from the unit above us was horrendous and no disrespect to the people in that unit, but it was a rickety building and it sounded like elephants were above us all night! It is not a building that should put guests above when there are guests below. Will never stay there again and would pay a bit more somewhere else in Wellington for a good night's sleep. We even considered travelling elsewhere on the night.

The room felt luxurious - quality linen, well presented, a good sized bathroom and kitchenette, Our host was gracious.|The motel is close to the train station and shops.|We highly recommend this motel for its comfort and proximity to transport and amenities.
