Bella Vista Wellington Motel Accommodation

Our flight got turned around due to a storm in the middle of the night and we had 2 babies with us . Had no family in Wellington to call and it was in the middle of Easter weekend too so I called about 7-8 accommodations and explained our situation but we got an either fully booked or can't take us at such a time and with kids answers ...until Bella Vista answered at about 4/5 in the morning and immediately told us yes and to come on over right away even though they didn't open until 9am. Arrived there and a big clean beautiful room was ready for us with the heater already on and some drinks for the kids in the fridge- the warmest welcome we'd ever gotten by the kind owner himself ! Highly recommend!!!!

Nice Motel, convenient for the Airport and easy navigation to the Waterfront areas. Clean, tidy and professionally operated. With professional standards demonstrated throughout the room. Far superior to the AirBNB's that we had stayed in. I would definitely stay again.

This is a haven of peace and quiet away from the beaten tourist path and the snarl of Wellington City. In walking distance (and you can walk easily from out the motel gate) from cafe and harbor view and sheltered from the ever-present wind. Close (but not too close) to the airport so getting around is easy. The owners are lovely people who treated my late arrival with kindness and good humor. If you like human scale and don't like corporate blandness the Bella Vista is a place I would highly recommend.

The hosts are extremely helpful and polite. Would really recommend this place to stay. Its also affordable. Just far enough from the rat race of the city centre.

Every time I stay at Bella Vista Wellington I get such a lovely warm welcome. I always book direct and they find the best room that suits my needs for that visit. Really great value for money! Bed is so comfortable. Rooms have everything you need plus extras like soaps, shampoo and coffee/tea etc. The cleanliness is 10 out of 10! And location is great - close enough to town but also great access to the Eastern bays and the beaches.

Bella Vista Wellington Motel is at a very good location to access to the city, beach and ferry. the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bed are very clean. I have had a good relax time when I stayed here. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you so much!

Impressed with this nice but old Motel tucked away within a $4 bus ride from the city centre of Wellington. Very quiet location and easy to find and park up. Importantly only 15 minutes simple drive to the Interisland terminal ( 7 am ish)|Only has a microwave for cooking but well stocked with cutlery & crockery so making simple meals is easy.|Comfortable bed and large bathroom within a shower so overall serves the purpose of a good place to stay on visiting wellington.

Excellent bathroom - seems relatively recently upgraded; great to have a demisting mirror and a huge shower ( although tiles possibly slippery)||Pleasant, helpful and accommodating proprietor ||Good parking and on the bus route to CBD; a nice place to walk the Harbour from
