Really nice hotel to stay at. Greeted very kindly by a nice man on the counter. We'd prebooked, and I think we were going to be put on the fifth(?) floor but I really hate elevators, the man picked up on it and offered us a room on the first floor. I was very grateful. He was so helpful. The room is basic but clean, tidy and for what we paid was exceptional value. No traffic noise. Warm. Heater was fine and not noisy like someone else commented for their room. Shower was good. Only thing was there was no toilet brush! But there was good ventilation in the bathroom with a window. Bed was not too hard and sufficient bedding. Location brilliant and easy walk to bus stops. Easy drop off and pick up for Ubers as there's a pick up bay off the street right by the front door. Will definitely return. Really nice looking bar and good coffee!

The room had everything you need for a one nights stay apart from proper form of aircon. The little unit in the room was a heater or a fan or you had a choice of this little dyson looking fan which both were really loud and didn't do any justice to circulate the room (unfortunately it was a very hot and humid night). The restaurant was fabulous. Food was delicious and service was prompt. I would definitely go back again but hopefully get a room with a better form of aircon next time.
Nice room, most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, in a hotel. The food and the service was very good. The hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance to parliament, and downtown. I would definitely stay there again
Greeted with a smile and our room was ready. Very comfortable and well appointed. Staff were great and it was situated 10 minutes from the Interislander ferry. Only downside was having to pay twenty eight dollars for parking when it was right outside. In saying that I would stay again.
credit can definitely be given to location and SOME staff. However i wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have 3 or more people or even just stopping over. We PAID for a hotel with a king bed or as they called it a king sized room. This room was the smallest little thing ever, consisted of a small dated bathroom with a shower that had a METAL floor no wonder why they didn't advertise it, no aircon or heater just a small little table dyson fan, one mini fridge that barely generated any type of coolness to preserve food, no lamps, no kitchen utensils just a single kettle and finally a QUEEN BED maybe smaller. Like mentioned before we PAID for a king bed and we measured the bed as we knew it looked off and definitely not as big as a king bed, we measured the bed then went to talk to reception as maybe there was a mistake we didn't know, all they had to tell us was that it is a king bed it just looks small because the room is small.... we asked to be moved to a room with a king bed like we requested and he replied " you have to pay an upgrade fee.." we told him we measured the bed we have the evidence that we do not have a king bed give us what we paid for??? After asking for management to at least give us a refund he said no management was there, which is quite unbelievable that u don't have a manger on shift? the bed was placed on two single bed platforms. After reading the rest of the reviews of this place its obvious false advertisement is common here. So if your not to fussy about where u stay sure this hotel just passes okay, but don't expect great service or rooms, but if your someone like me who prefers a room at least with a working fridge and sanitary bathroom i wouldnt stay here only thing going for it is the location. And for your businesses sake hire people who can speak proper english and know what their doing and instead of using the money made to upgrading the outside of your hotel/ lobby maybe put the money into upgrading the actual outdated rooms.
We are half way through our stay... And I highly recommend this accommodation... Beautiful views, large tv, very warm rooms but you have windows to open and a fan... The bed is AMAZING and sooo comfy, hard to get out of and the sup long pillows are just right... The shower is so inviting and hot... The staff are very accommodating and friendly, the meals are really delish and the chips are SO CRUNCHY... If I had anything negative to say it would be, the fridge is tiny with no freezer and there is a white splatter of something on the tv... The room maybe smallish but suitcases can be stored away, ours are behind the door... Parliament House is about 8 minute walk, 500 meters... HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Stayed over easter, had requested a quiet room when booking as was playing in a chess tournament and needed good nights sleep.||They put me on the Fifth floor, where it turned out there was a team of teenage netballers staying. Very noisy running round the corridors giggling, slamming doors and generally being annoying. I complained to reception but nothing was done.||Next night I try to go to sleep early (with ear plugs) could still hear them. Walls paper thin.||Then at 10.30 pm the phone in my room starts ringing just when I had finally nodded off. Annoyed I went to answer it but it had stopped before I could pick up.| Then at 11pm there is a loud knock at the door, just when I was getting back to sleep again. An indian from reception, telling me I had to move my red car. I did not even have a car, I grumpily tell him this but he looked unconvinced, I also told him the netballers were too loud, and to get it sorted. He just walked off.||No apology or anything, zero customer service skills, terrible way to treat people. I pretty much had a sleepless night after all this, especially as the noise continued into the early hours. I went to the chess extremely tired.||They also have a voucher system, where you can get Ten dollars off food if you agree to not having your room cleaned. On the voucher it says to present at checkout to claim the benefit. So Im checking out to head off to the airport and hand in my Three vouchers thinking I would get ten dollar credits off my bill. But no, she surlily says I can have a beverage in the food area. Which is crazy as I am checking out and going to the airport.||Only plus of this place is it is cheap, personally I would never set foot in that place again, even if they paid me.
I've enjoyed my stays at Atura whenever I've had embassy appointments. The location is perfect--close to embassies, parliament, a large New World, and nice restaurants &bars. The hotel's coffee is excellent, and while even tho the rooms are small, they're very clean, quiet, and budget-friendly. I had peaceful and restful sleeps. The staff were lovely, especially the young lady who checked me in and out. She had great vibes and offered me a complimentary late checkout due to my flight schedule. Though I'm moving abroad soon, I'd happily stay here again if I return for work or to visit friends later : )
