Adelaide Motel

Room is good but it was too hot and they didn't provide any fan and also noisy road. Lady served us nicely for anything I asked for which was good. Best thing is close to ferry port and Woolworth is just opposite road.

The motel is in such a handy location, close to the bus stop to go to town, hospital, supermarket (across the road) and local shops. There are a ton of inter4sting places to buy food locally, plus specialist food shops. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy, with good sound proofing. Handy off-street parking is provided. Also not too far from the airport.

guest room is very clean and tidy, looks like renovated recently. the bed is so comfortable. the location is very convenient, so close to shops and woolworth (just opposite the street), hospitals and CBD, all walking distance. the receptionist are very friendly and kind. The cost for staying is so reasonable. I will definitely stay at this motel whenever I want to stay in wellington.

Perfect 3 minute walk to the hospital, found it to be cheaper than directly across from hospital. Close to supermarket. Room had all we needed, laundry facilities were well priced. Lady at reception was more than accommodating after a miscommunication on dates & nothing was a problem. Called me by name & asked if everything was ok.

Quite a small room, but you get what you pay for and it wasn't expensive. Clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean (but very cold). Shower worked well. We could hear very little from the rooms either side of ours (but could hear sometimes); not enough to disturb us though. Parking could be tricky if you have a bigger vehicle. The driveway is very narrow in places, sloping and twisty; our little 1.3 litre rental car was OK, but I would have been nervous squeezing my 2.4 litre Camry through. Overall a comfortable, affordable stay.

This was an ideal location for Wellington Public Hospital and Southern Cross Hospital. Also couple of minutes walk to buses to the city and the local supermarket. I was on my own and felt very safe walking in the neighbourhood. The room was very cosy with small dining table separated by the bed by half a wall. Microwave, toast, jug and everything to have breakfast or an easy meal although there are eating places close by. The Manager told me rooms were being refurnished, however apart from new carpet my room must be still "on the list". Perhaps a cheaper price would be an idea for these rooms. My one gripe was the noise from an upstairs room. You could hear all the walking and talking. One night early hours of the morning. However the Manager dealt with it and the next night was quieter. Over all very clean just dated.

Room was clean and tidy, but very small. Supplies we're very limited and was a stretch to use them for 3 people. Other guests (seemed to be staying long term) were very noisy. Could hear every step the people above took and water going down the pipes was noisy too. Parking is pretty awful. Really tight getting in and out.

Room size was satisfactory. Facilities like TV and being able to make a hot drink was ok. Otherwise staying here served it's purpose of being reasonably near the airport. Sound proofing and double glazing would be beneficial.
