140 Ghuznee Hostel

Overall great experience in the Double Bed room, unlike other reviews. This was actually one of the best hostel (motel-like) stays I've experienced. Peaceful and not noisy, other guests mind their own business. Ovens work beautifully in the kitchen and plenty of space for dry and refrigerated food. The downside was most showers needed maintenance and drains fixed, only 2 mirrors available (B Floor) in the corridor, frying pans, bent and scratched, probably not a social environment as you'd expect like other hostels. Other than that you're sweet.

Probably under new management since the first comments as the whole place is clean. It is still a self checkin place but instructions are clear and easy. It's definitely not a 5star hotel but very good value for money for backpackers and other people who don't like spending lots of money on accommodation. Neighborhood is safe and close to the city's main attractions.

WARNING! This hostel is a scam. There is no reception, no contact person. The keys are in a box on the door. The rooms are in a catastrophic condition and do not correspond to the pictures on Booking. Electricity hardly works, there are lots of unnumbered numbers in the box. There is no heating. The rooms are extremely run down and cold. There are lots of letters from the court in the entrance area. The highlight in the room: people urinated in the corners and the smell is terrible. I left immediately. When asked if I would get my money back: No answer. I am in contact with Booking and hope that this accommodation will be blocked as soon as possible. You can't stay overnight here.
