83 By the Sea Motor Lodge

We have stayed many times at 83 by the sea in Petone. Their facilities are comfortable & had everything that we required for a comfortable 3 day stay.|Our room looked out onto Petone beach and it was a short walk to the main street for shopping etc in Petone. Would certainly recommend.

It was a shadow of its former days when I spent a month at a time there for work over a year. 12 years ago. The grounds have been left to go a bit on the wild side, and the rooms aren't kept as clean. It's not the same. Different management.

Central location close to shops, food outlets, public transport. Rooms well serviced. Quiet and good parking. Management very accommodating. Another great sporting get away thank you.

Very clean and tidy older motel - staff amazingly accommodating as we arrived very late at night - handy to everything we needed - clean daily with fresh towel - certainly friendly - bathroom was spotless - short walk to the water - only down side was the noise from the seagull but certainly not the motels fault

No hot water for the shower it was lukewarm and tv had free view which is useless, did have a comfy bed though.

My mother and I stayed one night, the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We did have difficulty reaching the toaster and electric kettle as they were on a high shelf. We are not very tall!!|Close to ferry terminal and resturants in Petone.

Well maintained well presented room handy location
