Hotel Suraj

In the heart of the city. Full security and near all market. The hotel has no lift but over all, its value for money. Good staffs and. Proper hygine maintained. Will definitely visit again. Thanks to my relatives who recommended me. There is a casino in the premises too.

Hotel Suraj is located centrally at Birgunj. The rooms here are neat with attached bathroom with both hot and cold water. The place servers halal meat items and has wide varied of vegetarian items in there menu. The restaurant here us neat and hygienic. The room service is prompt with warm hospitality. There us a game room which allows only Non Nepali citizen.

Birgunj is a very crowded city. The city needs huge development. Hotel Suraj is in the heart of city. The hotel is very old. They have tried renovating. They have done a pretty much good job. Rooms are clean and staffs are friendly. They have live music every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The rooms have less natural light. The bar has good collection. Foods are yummy. Parking is limited. Overall 4 stars.

Was there in birgunj for a factory visit. After tiring day the hotel stay was pleasant. Good rooms, good food, good people and live music was a perfect day to end the day. Not more than 12 cars could be parked. They should increase their parking. All in all the hotel was a good stay. Cheers!

This seems to be one of the famous hotels all over Birgunj. Many localities know it because of the restaurant first floor. Don't go for this hotel by looking at just the reception. The room quality is not at all similar to the reception. They have really old furniture. Bathroom condition is worse, they didn't even had hot water supply. Bell boy came and checked for 15 minutes for this but couldn't get hot water. In room dining menu is overpriced better to avoid. Guard was really helpful as I left my cellphone at some place and a person came to drop it to the hotel.||It is located on the main road and very easy to commute to airport or Indian border.

Better than before. Needs little efforts to make it perfect to compete with other hotels. Like 1. B&B facility. 2. Tea and coffee availability in the room. 3. Make avail of Bathroom accessories. Tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, razer etc. 4. I found not enough light in the bathroom. Mirror light to be used for shaving.

Very bad room service. Hotel will not give you even a bottle of water as a complimentary service. You will not get hot water running, plus they make all kinds of excuses to hide their inability to serve people. Your room will not be cleaned even if you leave the room and ask the room service to clean the room. And too many mosquitoes in the room, room service didn't even bother to replace good knight refill pack even after requesting multiple times. The only advantage the hotel has is it's location. Make sure you weigh all the pros and cons and then only book the rooms in this hotel.

Stayed here for a night. The staff ay reception are friendly and helpful. The food was good , and service was fast. I am overall satisfied with the hotel. The hotel is bit inside, chances are you may miss it, it's close to indian town of Racial , less than 3km.
