Namaste Bardiya Resort

I had the best time with Krishna at Namaste bardiya resort. He is an expert nature enthusiast and Tiger tracker, a wonderful guide, and most of all- a good person. He can easily arrange so many activities in the national park and in the area. The resort itself is wonderful and Kamela makes wonderful food. Extremely recommend visiting this place and taking Krishna as your guide, especially if you love wildlife.

I had an amazing stay with Krishna and his lovely family. As a guide, Krishna went out of his way to ensure that I had the best experience during the jungle walk and jungle safari, and adjusted to my adventure level. During my trip, I saw five rhinos and one tiger. The cottage is modest but has all the essentials, amazing location, and fantastic service. It was a memorable trip!

Staying with Krishna is an experience like no other! As a part of our cycling trip around the world, we camped here for two nights. We are travelling for so long and are on a very tight budget, and this place was by far the best value for money around. We did the jungle walking safari, which I would highly recommend! Even though we (along with all of the other jungle visitors that day) were unlucky, and didn't see much wildlife, it was still an amazing experience to see so many tracks and markings from the animals, and to spend the day deep in nature, with the help of Krishna's immense amount of knowledge of the jungle. Because we didn't see any wildlife, Krishna offered to take us the next day without charging any fee (we would have just needed to pay the park entrance and food). He is truly passionate about helping people experience the jungle! The next day, we woke to find our bicycle shifter had broken, and Krishna instantly got on the phone and called many people in order to find someone who could weld it for us. He helped us get to the right bus to a nearby city where he connected us with his friend, who ensured we were able to get it fixed. This literally SAVED our trip, and we are incredibly grateful to Krishna! We couldn't recommend this place more strongly, and we can wait to return someday!

Krishna and his team (shout out to Sandesh!) really go above and beyond to provide the best experience for their guests. He knows the best spots for wildlife in the park and will prioritise what you're most interested in - saw a tiger, albeit in the far distance, the friend I was with went into the park with Krishna last year and saw one at ~15m. But even beyond that, nothing is any problem: need transport arranging this afternoon? Krishna will sort it; want to borrow a bike? Krishna will sort it; tasty BBQ for dinner? No problem; run out of cigarettes? Someone will be along with some in a few mins; hot in the room and could do with an extra fan? Krishna has you covered. Honestly it's the best service I've encountered anywhere. At 700 rupees /night for a very comfortable double bed with private bathroom it's incredible.

This place is beautiful to stay at. It's located right beside Bardiya National Park, offering stunning views of the jungle and river from its balcony. The property is spacious, and the rooms are quite good. However, the best part is the service. The person in charge ensures everything is comfortable for the guests. He even picked us up, dropped us off, arranged the safari, and managed a tour guide. He was kind, informative, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The prices are also very reasonable. This is a genuine review from a truly happy and satisfied guest.

From the first minute I felt very welcome. The host Krishna helped me organize a tuk tuk from Ambasa village to him. I got a very nice and cozy bungalow. I really enjoyed the sunsets from my terrace. Krishna's wife and his team cooked delicious food and served me milk tea daily ;) This place offers you a paradise, quiet, surrounded by nature. You can go to Bardiya National Park with Krishna, he is an excellent guide and will do his best to see rhinos, elephants or even a tiger. I highly recommend this place for a longer stay. I was there for two weeks :)

The place is lovely, the hosts even better. Krishna and Kamala are very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. I suggest this place to see animals on your tours, eat very good food and have the best time. It's also very close to the entrance of the park.

We had a really beautiful camping trip with the big nature lovers Nanu (Nanu's Jungle Tour & homestay) and Krishna (Namaste Bardiya Resort). My brother and I were looking for a camping trip in the jungle of Bardiya National park between all the commercial travel agencies till we found these two friends that wanted to take us for a really fair price. They both learned us a lot about the Nepali nature and the big animals inhabiting this beautiful park. Of these animals we saw elephants, rhinos and the tiger!! All thanks to the effort of our two guides Nanu and Krishna and our enthusiastic driver of our jeep.||Thanks guys!
