Dzukou Retreat

"My stay at Dzuko Retreat was truly delightful! The beautifully crafted and well-equipped tents on top of a small hill offered a serene escape from the city's chaos. Each tent was aesthetically designed, complete with fans, electrical kettle, and a decent rack for hanging clothes. Clean linen and spacious washroom with a geyser and basic toiletries added to the comfort. Insta worthy ambience, a small bookshelf and some board games made this space even more special The food was exceptional - Fresh rotis(rare find in Nagaland) delicious dal, salad, paneer curry, chicken curry, brown rice, and veggies were all prepared to perfection. But what truly made my stay special was the hospitality of Aphri, the owner and host. Her courtesy, professionalism, and warm demeanor made us feel right at home. Don't miss asking for their local wines and some yummy peanut masala. Her brother (Akhu) who co-owns the place is an avid biker . Both Akhu and Aphri can help you to plan the sightseeing too I would highly recommend Dzuko Retreat to anyone visiting Kohima, Jakhama, or Kigwema. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

Such a wonderful experience...surreal! You get up in the morning, open the door of your sweet lil cottage and see the sun rising amongst the fluffy clouds and hills...what more can one ask The hosts are lovely and they made our visit so comfortable and easy. They plan picnics and beautiful trips for the guests. The restaurant is great and so is the food. Enjoyed some finger licking local cuisines. We loved every moment of our stay here. Evenings around the bonfire and antakshari and laughter among new friends made there made our stay special indeed. Thank you Dzukou Retreat...looking forward for the next trip.

I was touring Northeast India with five of my friends, and we kicked off our adventure with the Dzukou Valley trek. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip! The dorm was clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views! The owners were incredibly accommodating, helped us arrange last minute travel to Kaziranga. The food was delicious and exactly what we needed after a long days of travel and trekking.

Awesome location and one of the best location..if you love nature then this is a place for you. Rooms are good neat and clean with attached western toilet and bathroom and geyser is there. Food one of the best in Kohima..People are humble and friendly. Best resort in Kohima..

Visited with my family for 2 days. Cottages were very clean, and really good hospitality. Food was delicious, and they also prepared local dishes that weren't in their menu upon our request. The owner helped a lot while planning our itinerary and suggested many places. They also managed our dzukou trek completely right from the cab to the trek guide.

Visited Dzoukou retreat with my wife and daughter in the first week of October. It is an amazing place. Great views. Host family is very friendly and accommodating. If one is looking for a peaceful nature stay, it is an ideal place. For us it was a great time.

This property has been developed with a lot of love, attention to detail and thoughtfulness about the needs of guests. It has a very fun, relaxed mountain vibe about it. The food at their cafe is outstanding!!! We had some of our best and most delicious meals here. Both the local Naga dishes as well as traditional parathas and continental pastas, everything was fantastic. Atanu, Atreya and their team of helpers were attentive to every guests needs. They also help with organising day trips, village visits, treks and picnics in the area. We spent 2 nights here. Their cottages have very warm blankets, hot water and cosy situps with amazing views. We spent 2 very lazy days here, soaking in this place and enjoying our time in the mountains. I strongly recommend a stay with them.

If you want to go to nagaland and dzoukou valley ,the perfect place to stay there is dzoukou retreat . The view from there was mesmerizing. Its a very quiet place and you will find peace over there . It was build on a hilltop . The hospitality you will receive was unforgettable. The staff was so good and friendly . There are selfie points also and the rooms were amazing.. neat and clean and all the facilities have been provided . So just pack your bags and book
