The Hammock Resort

Cute resort with very helpful staff. Rooms are dated but somewhat clean. The location is a bit far from the main wokha town (20 mins on bad roads) otherwise a good place to stay.

The place was a little out of main Wokha village but it suited our needs. Maybe it is being renovated or developed with a Japanese Garden theme, so the garden area was still in work but nonetheless, it was beautiful. The rooms are basic. There is a hot water supply but unfortunately the drainage in our bathroom was almost completely clogged so that was a bit of a turn off. On the plus side, the staff made very good food for us, catering to veg and non veg crowd well. Network is a little bit of a problem here. Only Jio works.

Wokha is a beautiful town. The hotel infrastructure is poor. The property has issues of seepage and the rooms arent clean. The infrastructure is suboptimal compared to the money they charge for this place. The area seems to be still under development most probably belongs to some politician who doesnt care for customer satisfaction or money. They close the kitchen by 0700pm and no one is available at the desk throughout the day. Might be it was lean season during Aug. Small towns have inherent issues regarding cleanliness and hospitality. Food was below average. The surrounding areas make for a good walk but the same applies to anywhere in this region.

Is Renjano murry still working here She cooks so delicious Beautiful and so polite as well. Because of you I used to visit often and ate foods even when I am not hungry. You are the Angel in the Hotel

A superb resort with lots of developmental opportunities. Family gatherings, picnics, meetings, concerts just about anything are held here. Heard a VR Room is to be set up soon, review will be updated after that. Rooms and services may be on a bit of heavy budget but the fun memories make up for it. It's a fun place to take your children too.
