El Dora

I recently stayed here as I had a layover in Mokokchung for work purpose and had a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which was a definite plus. However, the food was a major letdown. Unfortunately, the quality and taste didn't meet my expectations. I would not give even 1 for the quality of food. I would respectfully request the management to revisit and upgrade their food standards to match the quality of their room. Hope to see improvements in the future!

Had the opportunity to stay over at El Dora, and here's my comment. Location: Located at the outskirt of the main town but not very far as well. From the main police point (Imlong Place), it took around 6 minutes to reach the hotel. The area is an extension of the town and is likely to be an emerging hot spot in a few years' time. Rooms: There are around 10 rooms of various levels. I took the executive room. The room was spacious and overlooked the main lawn with a queen bed. Basic amenities were present, but I would appreciate it if water bottles were made available, too. Rooms were clean. Food: No complimentary breakfast, but one could order the meals from the restaurant downstairs. Compared to other hotels, the menu prices were reasonable. The very few food items i had in terms of quality and quantity were superb, and I wish I had the chance to try many of the items. Other facilities: The outdoor lawn with the small swimming pool is an added feature and provided an ideal place to work remotely as well. Overall comment: I am pleased to see our own town levelling up to par with the rest of the towns and cities and look forward to the hotel refining itself and living up to it names. There is scope for improvements in minor areas, and I am sure it will grow.

One of the best hotel in the town with 24x7 running hot and cold water, with huge generator back up that we had karoake whole night in the hotel karaoke room in the top floor. swimming pool is quite clean due to it's medium size pool, yeah we pool entry is free for hotel guest, food are amazing, ofcourse 2-3 mins away from main town but it is in the town itself with pucca road connectivity to the town so overrall the best hotel in the town

With a very heavy heart I am writing this honest review which I personally feel is in need so that other guests who come to mokokchung do not go through what my family and friends did recently after reading the misleading reviews on social media about this place when we checked in on 27 July 2024. We were welcomed with a nice view with good ambience but everything from snacks to dinner and breakfast we had was pathetic even for a person who has zero expectations (we did complain n asked for improvements) and the place is way overpriced as they do not even provide basic amenities like fan and TV when there are power cuts even in premium rooms which cost us 5500/ night. I hope the proprietor takes this positively and improves their services so that people leave with good faith from our land.

I recently visited that place , and while the ambiance and service were excellent, I found the prices to be quite high. The quality of the food was good, but the price are way too much expensive I'm not sure it justified the steep cost. It's a place to consider for special occasions, but probably not for regular dining unless you're prepared for the higher price tag

Great place to relax and the food is quite good too. Might be expensive compared to most but is justified by its quantity. Lovely staff altogether.

The only hotel in mokokchung with swiming pool and huge safe parking and food quantity is so big and large so price is okay for me and the best hotel in Mokokchung

The food itself has its own unique taste, loved the ambience, the service was good. I suggest people to visit, got no regrets.. Would love to visit this cute place
