Orchid Lodge

My recent stay at Orchid Lodge was an absolute delight. The guesthouse felt like a cozy home away from home, with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had everything I needed. Wifi worked properly. Hot water was available. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of many attractions, like War Cemetery and Mao Market. I would highly recommend Orchid Lodge to anyone visiting Kohima.

We checked a few options in Kohima, and Orchid Homestay definitely offers the best value! Comfortable and spacious rooms with attached bathroom, geyser and WIFI. Beautiful view on the valley from the window. Very nice and responsive owner. Perfect location close to the city center, the night market and the NST bus stand. Highly recommended.

Lovely neat and clean room. Hot water geysers in bathrooms. Helpful owner and son. Efficient staff. The cook churns out excellent fare. Good especially if you want a break from the north eastern food. Do check rates for food though as they do not have a menu card. Very highly recommended.

Thaja Lodge - Kohima, Nagaland, India.||||There are many hotels in Kohima City and most are them are indeed reasonable in||price. However if you are going to view the Hornbill Festival at the Nagaland Heritage Village in early December you have to book your place of stay early as the festival is very popular in Nagaland. ||||Good accommodation that can considered as luxurious has suites that cost up to INR 5,000 and above, for example the Hotel Japfu and Razhu Pru at the Kohima Village. For the average travelers there are many 3 stars place that are comfortable at INR 1,500 to 2,000. ||||We were surprised to chance upon Theja Lodge in the heart of the city. A two storey 6 room abode that has small but clean rooms and came at INR 800 and 600. The rooms at INR800 are larger with a balcony thrown in. The three rooms at INR600 are all at the ground floor. Indian meals can be ordered at the small reception cum dinning area and it comes at cheap prices. ||||We were told that the rooms were fully booked in early Dec.

This lodge is situated near war cemetery and Nagaland state bus stand , Kohima. Rooms in this lodge are good . Rooms have geyser for hot water bath. Washrooms are small but maintained good . This lodge is good place for staying during hornbill festival as this lodge is near night food street. Only breakfast is served from kitchen of this lodge which costs Rs 100 ( bread, butter, omelette,jam and tea/coffee). For lunch/ dinner a menu from a nearby restaurant is kept in all rooms. We have to call that restaurant and say our requirement and food will be served in our rooms. During hornbill festival they increase their room rents. I got a double room in this lodge for Rs 1800 per night during hornbill festival. A good place to stay while in Kohima. For travel/food pictures and information plz follow my insta account. Affordable place to stay. Provide 24 hours warm water. Restaurants, taxi stand, night bazar is nearby. and war cemetery is walking distance from this lodge. will definitely recommend for budget stay.

One of the best choice for low budget stay, two persons can sleep in one room (two beds), per room rent is 1000, hot water facilities available, electric kettle is also available. Overall a 100% satisfaction experience for us at Kohima.

Five minutes walking distance from Kohima war cemetery. On Assam rifle road beside LG showroom. Landmark is AO church. For four persons it is 2000 a day. Good place to stay. It offers apartment lodging. Big sized well lit room. Attached toilet in both bedroom. This facility is adequately clean. No elevator facility is available. They have awesome view from kitchen dinning and living room. Private terrace is accessible from bedroom. Great view from terrace. Heater facility is 100 a day. Geyser is there in both toilet. It has all the standard facility for the kitchen, includes a refrigerator. Great place for people in groups and family.
