Maple Homestay

Great hospitality. The host was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy. There's a nice balcony too to chill. The food served was also very tasty and wholesome. Overall, great stay, strongly recommended. Would suggest getting the room with the balcony.

Christie was a perfect host - excellent English with great conversation, wonderful cook (she cooked me a special Agami meal of silkworms at my request), kindly arranged transport and was generally a delight. The accomodation is well priced - shared bathroom - and a proper homestay (ie you really are sharing someone's home). Location is about a 25 minute walk to Bamboo Market.

We had a lovely time at christis home! She's super welcoming and makes a variety of delicious dishes:) we enjoyed the clean room and the spacious and sunny balcony. We got great advice and help about the sights around kohima and really felt at home:) already looking forward to come back

It was an amazing stay, with the best hosts. Being welcomed with warm smiles, ensuring everything is intact, is something that a very few can do with all their heart. And Christi happens to be one of those hosts. Loved my time here, from the conversations, stories, and special thanks to her for accommodating my reservations with food and assuring me I could reach out if there was any problem while I was on the go. If you go to Kohima, Maple Homestay should be your go to choice. Clean rooms, closer to the town, and the best hospitality.

One of the best homestays in Northeast. The house is so pretty and rooms are cosy and clean. The best part of this stay is the host Christie and she makes you feel like home and the homemade bread made by Christie is a must try.

Run by a lovely and amazingly hospitable family, this has to be the most experientially rich and budget friendly accommodation in all of Kohima. The rooms were well maintained and there was a lot of space to lounge around. The hosts were really friendly, with timely notice more than happy to prepare unique local cuisine, and they even went out of their way to show me around town. It was easy to communicate with them in either Hindi or English and their suggestions were immensely valuable during my solo excursion. One of the best homestay experiences I have had in my journey across South Asia.

It was amazing staying at maple homestay. Christi is just an outstanding host with soo much hospitality and energy. You instantly feel the vibess and uplifting energy from her. Muffin is jus soo cute. In the middle of a busy kohima, its a beautiful and comfortable stay. Place is very cozily setup. Good conversations, amazing food and cozy corners are my most favorite things about this place

It's like living with a family in your home away from home. The warmth i feel here is unmatchable and always calls me back for more. Beautiful friendly and warm hosts, great food, comfortable stay. Best budget hotel in Kohima, and frankly everything one needs is available. Can't believe it is available at this price. These guys are now family, what more can you ask for in a host?
