Hotel Ariel

Overall, my experience at the hotel was good. The staffs were friendly, and the rooms were neat and tidy. I appreciated the spacious room, although the food was just okay. Unfortunately, there were no parking lots available.

Had a Wonderful Stay at Hotel Ariel Kohima! This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations! The place was impeccably clean, and the staff truly went above and beyond. Everyone had a friendly smile and was always happy to help. The food was delicious as well. I was in Kohima for a official trip, but the positive atmosphere at Hotel Ariel made it a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Had a very pleasant stay from 2nd to 5th Dec,2023. All the staff are very warm,helpful,courteous and efficient. The road facing room on the 2nd floor (203)was clean,big,sunny and well furnished and had an electric kettle with tea/coffee sachets.The bathroom was spacious and had complimentary toileteries. The complimentary breakfast was nutritous, tasty and sufficient. We had dinner here on all the 3 days and it was a little spicy, both Indian and Chinese items. The building has a convenience store in the ground floor that sells all basic items and the first floor has an Axis Bank Branch with an ATM. The hotel is at one end of the town and you need to walk down for 5 mins to the High School junction where you get a bus (Rs.20), Scooter (Rs.50) or a hired taxi (Rs.100) that takes you to the main town (Rezu Point). I would highly recommend this hotel since it was an absolute value for money.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Everything was conveniently placed. The staffs were very polite and friendly. No AC in the room, but you may not need it as Kohima has a cool climate. Food was nice and tasty, but it might not be the best around there. The hotel starts from the 2nd floor, so you will need to climb up the stairs. There is no lift facility. On the first floor there is an Axis Bank with ATM (but the ATM never worked during my 3 days of stay). In Kohima, brief electricity shutdown after every hour is quite common, but rest assured, the hotel has a power generator and it will start up within a few minutes of power failure. Summarily, I would say the hotel was a good one and I would recommend a stay in it if you have the chance.

No as per the expectations. Service is good. Food is local type not a restaurant type. Location is not good enough due to connectivity but view is awesome. Need progress on room amenities and facilities. May arrange Airport pickup drop option. Food quality needs to upgrade. Service is good, behaviour is too .

A nice clean hotel which i would rate value for money. Good spacious rooms, clean and with ample storage facilities. Includes sofa, tea tables. Toiletatories, complimentary water, tea, coffee bags, hot water kettle all included. Ask for the mountain view rooms, thise have awesome views. All the staff are extremely polite and take immediate action on requests - excellent service. There is an Axis bank and ATM just one floor down. Restaurant is included, food tast can be improved, but prices are not too costly. One big downside though - no lift. All else good!!

The Rooms are spacious, well furnished and neatly maintained. Even the bathroom was almost the size of a small room by itself. Very impressive. The staff were polite and courteous. The Hotel is located right next to the main road so the traffic might be an issue for rooms on that side. Room tariffs are on the medium range. Overall the amenities provided by the Hotel made the stay enjoyable.

Unfortunately I could stay only one Day / Night. This young wonderful nice Lady knows how to run a Hotel, she's very competent in arguing and reacting on every wish or need, and this comes down to all the employers very well it seemed to me. The hole stuff was very courteous and lovely, the Service and Food was excellent, I had a local Naga Combo with Bamboo and Chicken, it was very delicious. The laundry was done very fast and perfect clean. My Room Nr. 102 was on the Backside, everything very clean and all of the many features were working very Properly. The Double Rooms and the little but wonderful Restaurant on the frontside have a stunning View. I can highly recommend this Place in Kohima, hope to be back there soon ;o)
