Central Guest House Kohima

A truly budget friendly hotel. Don't expect more as the room fare is just 800 for two or three persons. Both attached bathroom and common options are available but they don't have any geyser facility, instead of that they provide an immersion rod. You need to book your food before 6 if u want to take, after that they will not provide u any food under any circumstances. View from this guest house attached.

During the Hornbill Festival, I reserved a standard room and received confirmation after paying the full amount. However, upon arrival, they insisted I stay in a lower-budget room. Later, I discovered similar complaints in 1-star reviews online, suggesting this regular practice is common for them. I strongly recommend avoiding booking at this place as it could potentially spoil your entire trip.

The dormitory here is love. Perfect for a group of max 10 people. It is quite hygienic and well made. It is a reasonably priced place to stay in Kohima if you are traveling in a group. They also had some rooms meant for 2 people.

Great for solo travelers and backpackers. I wish the prices could've been a little cheaper but the location is extremely convenient- right at the bus stop. The roof top cafe is great as well, just hoping for a little more variety in the food menu. The manager, Potha was an absolute sweetheart and a great conversationist!

Great budget accommodation. The rooms are small but clean and they have enough room in the common area to work on a laptop or hangout. Located down some stairs but very near a bus stand and many shops. Staff are always friendly and the food is cheap but decent.

Good budget room in the kohima,specially for backpackers.||- Location is perfect, at the centre of city, in the proximity of Bus station (NST), taxi station and market.||- Owner is very helpful, and the caretakers are very humble and prepares very tasty food at genuine rate. If one wants to stay in Kohima in a reasonable budget, this is a nice place for them. They provide clean room and necessary items as asked by the tourists. They also provide information about how to travel and to sightseeing in Kohima. The owner treats everyone very well. One can ask for hot water to drink as well as to take bath. It is located in close proximity to Kohima taxi & bus stand.

Got the double bed room. The rooms were gross. I think a bit of cleaning will improve drastically the aspect of the place. The bathroom/toilet could be also a bit cleaner. For the price, they should also provide lockers on the dormitory a think.
