Had a beautiful stayed here in Akim homestay, the rooms are very neat and clean and spacious. Location is very good and few kilometres outskirts of the main kohima market, which is the best part (why so, away from the hassle and noisy city). The staff where very polite and helpful, especially Mercy she responds very politely and tend to our need very joyfully. The hospitality shown by Mercy is excellent . It's rare to find good person/staff nowadays. She work humbly and was not for the tip at the end of the stay. The surrounding is very well maintained and beautiful. Anyone will fall in love with Nagaland the moment they enter Akim Homestay! The hospitality of the hosts will make you feel that you have stepped into the house of your own brother or sister. They will love you and take very good care of you to ensure that you are comfortable. The beauty of the gardens with a breathtaking view of the mountains will stay imprinted forever in your mind! Wonderful people everywhere. The most beautiful place on earth! What more does a man need? This is paradise!

Akim homestay has all the potential of being an ideal stay. Its calm & serene location, coupled with its spacious rooms and really nice premises are worth the money. But the service was pathetic. There was no one around to even get our basic queries answered. And when we somehow located a puzzled caretaker/staff/manager, they had little or no knowledge of what we were asking, which were only about the homestay timings, servings, policies etc. Their complementary breakfast was served beyond our requested timing and that too the tea arrived minutes after we ate bread omelette with cold water. Overall review - can find better homestays at such price range.

The homestay is on a beautiful location. Very friendly and nice hosts. The food options were very limited, only one option was offered. Also the dinner was very simple as they were understaffed. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming! There was powercut therefore no hot water available early morning. This was very challenging in the very cold weather (10 degrees). Overall good place to be. Please confirm food arrangements before booking.

This place was clean and very professionally maintained. The room was quiet and spacious. We stayed here only one night because this place is kind of secluded and we didn't have a vehicle.
