Absolutely loved this place during our one night stay in Kohima. Nice location away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Beautiful rooms with all the amenities that you can ask for, and great service to top it all. Very helpful staff. Wish we could stay longer.

This has to be one of the best places where we could have stayed in Kohima. We really enjoyed the common space and the rooms and every single article from the bed lamp to the rows to everything else. In there, the places done up tastefully and the owners are really good and I recommend you to stay here if you're in Kohima.

I recently booked a stay here and unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations. Everything was perfect until the next day when the price I was charged upon booking was higher than what was initially listed on the platform. When I inquired with the host, they were vague about the price differences, and I felt misled. This lack of transparency left a bad impression in the end. I know you were disappointed because i booked the room from Booking.com at a lower rate than what you quoted when i called ur homestay directly. The host cancelled the other guest and we don't have any say in this matter as we agreed to share the bathroom in the end because the host said he cant cancel the other guests as they were on their way and will reach late from dimapur. So why charge us extra 500 when the host himself cancelled the other guests? I have been to hundreds of hotels and home-stays all over the country but this is the first time i have been charged more than the booking amount that too in my own home-state.

The place is so hygienic rooms , washrooms everything is clean and the stuffs are friendly and the breakfast provided are awesome the only thing is the road condition

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pitch Roof in Kohima and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the incredibly friendly hosts. The accommodation was luxurious and the amenities provided were of the utmost quality. My favourite part was the stunning views that greeted me each morning - the perfect way to start the day. The breakfast had to be the highlight though, with a delicious array of foods that was sure to please everyone's tastes. All in all, our stay was simply perfect and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pitch Roof to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Kohima.

The Homestay was excellent. The owner and his relatives working there were very hospitable and helpful.They provide quick service everytime.This place is very well maintained. Rooms are really nice,clean and cozy. We found peace, a lot of nature and felt good and safe. Everything here was just amazing. If we visit there again,we will definitely choose The Pitch Roof.

The Pitch Roof.... just 6-7 kms away from the chaos city life to the Amidst in Nature... Stay was really serene amidst in green nature. We reached in Kohima by late evening and I was confused with the hotel location, Mr. Arshad, the proprietor of the hotel "The Pitch Roof" was guiding me with his hotel's location over telephone, but as it was a new locality for me I wasn't able to locate it.. Despite, Mr. Arshad being the property owner, he himself came half of the way to pick us up to his hotel. It was such a warm welcome. This home-stay is located at one of the most safest zone in Kohima City. Its very near to Nagaland Legislative Assemble and C.M's residence. Everything was so good in this home stay. It's super clean and and well maintained hygiene and has a bundle of comfort items to make one feel at home. The food was really flavorsome and hygienic too. Perfect room with a perfect mountain views amidst in nature with a cup of hot coffee in the morning. As my baby was asleep, Mr. Arshad even allowed us to stay in the room beyond the check out time. It was so kind of him. They have an excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this home stay to my family and friends... May God bless you & all the best Mr. Arshad..
