Tourist Lodge

One of the best hotel at this budget range from my experience. Parking: The compound is spacious with a huge parking space behind the building. Restaurant: The restaurant is located on the ground floor adjacent to the reception desk. Meals are available at reasonable price. Rooms: The room is very clean with attached bathroom of western style. There's one private common room with sofa apart from bedroom with AC's and TV. Wifi: Free wifi is available.

Quiet, clean, budget friendly. Located right outside the Dimapur Railway Station and State bus Terminus. Not fancy but well maintained government lodge. Similar private hotels opposite to it have higher room rates. Since the property has a lot of open space, it is quiet although it is located on the main road.

Just checked in and already love this place. clean, great location, quiet, great price..balcony! Westerner approved. This is a government run hotel I believe. Thank you Nagaland!

Perhaps one of the best deals I have got in India. Really nice bedrooms for just 600, that too in a convenient location. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has overpriced food though. But can't complain given how cheap the room is.

A very good hotel which is budget friendly. Neat and clean environment.. Very close to the Dimapur Railway Station. Availability of rooms on spot might be a task but booking in advance would help. Have a restaurant also at the ground floor so dont have to go outside to eat at any time, food is also provided at room service.. Free Wi-Fi facility is avilable.. Ac and non ac both rooms available. Lobby has a good air conditioned waiting area with a television and also many things to buy like traditional kry chains, decorating items, pickels, traditional jewellery etc.

This is a govt managed hotel. So unsurprisingly, management is poor. Positives include large spacious rooms by hotel standard. Bed was comfortable. Blanket was cozy but not very clean. Wardrobe had enough compartments to organise the luggage. There were two comfortable cushioned chairs and a nice table to have breakfast etc. There was also a balcony with a view. Bathroom was not very clean and there wasn't any provision for a hot shower. The lobby of the room had an expansive view of a large tree filled compound. TV had channels of my choice, surprisingly. On the negatives: lack of hot shower, stained wall, glass panes missing in the window, poor latch on the door and not brightly lit enough for working. Room service boy woke me up in the morning without any prior request or warning. That was a dampener.

My stay was for one night so I don't have much opinion but yes the staffs are friendly and I would say my overall stay was good not bad not too good .. just fine! Hope it helps! Oh yes there were some stains on the bedsheets tho so.. well it was cleaned but stains were kinda visible
