Longchen Homestay

If you want something close to the airport, this place is magical. Annie the host is extremely gracious, accommodating and helpful. We were three couples staying the night. The rooms were clean, toilets were sparkling and the food was deliciously simple and good. The air is clean and their property is situated on a large extensive plot of land away from the hustle bustle of the main road. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful time at Longchen home stay! Beautiful and serene setting, comfortable rooms, delicious authentic Naga food and such warm and friendly staff! Our stay here was one of our most beautiful experiences in Nagaland! Thank you Annie!

We only stayed one night but wish it could have been longer. Annie and her team run a great homestay. Excellent food (recommend staying for dinner). Good location for the airport. Quiet.

A beautiful guesthouse made with nature's touch. The rooms were big and every need of the person taken care of. The manager was quite helpful and polite. The food was organic and good to taste. Really loved the nature's connect. Rooms have huge balcony space and uses lots of bamboo furniture. The area is amidst the bungalow's and very near to airport. In fact I'm mornings you can see and hear flights taking off and landing.Overall it was very nice experience staying at that home stay.

An unexpected home stay in place like Dimapur. Minimalist, peaceful, super clean, comfortable bed, clean toilet and good food. Our experience also had a different dimension as It was a place of delight for my 8 year old. He had observed many wildlife. First time he saw field of fireflies, colourful lizards and different species of birds. The bright yellow/orange paint, outside of the house attracted multiple flies, moths, katydid, grasshoppers and geckos next to safety light. What a live observation station it was for him! |We enjoyed the hospitality, authentic home made food and a place with hand on my heart, enjoyed our stay here.

This post has been long due. I stayed at the longchen homestay during the Horbill Festival in December 2019. Annie and her husband are extremely gracious hosts. They are a fun company to talk to. Annie loves experimenting with food and is very enthusiastic about sharing delicious things that she makes in her kitchen. The meals served our simple and delicious. The staff also is very friendly and helpful. The property is stunning and very quiet. I rented the room facing their small farm pond. The backyard is very picturesque and made for a perfect setting for morning and evening tea. The property is very safe (I stayed there as a solo traveler). I will go back there again and would also recommend it to anyone visiting Dimapur.

Peace, tranquility and great service put all together . I loved my two nights at Longchen. Annie is a lovely host. She is so passionate about her food and the place. Food Is lovely . Home cooked and delicious. It's a homestay so please do not expect buffets and unrealistic stuff. Decor has my heart. The lady has put her heart and soul.
