Hotel Saramati

A quaint hotel run by government agency. Rooms were BIG but old and worn out. The A/C was super strong with a huge fan cooling down the room real quickly, so much so that I had to switch it off/on many times. Service was just ok done by an uninterested staff. Laundry service was top class with very economical prices. The Hotel is very well placed on a main road with very good access to many tourist spots, restaurants and supermarkets just walkable and across the road. THERE ARE NO LIFTS, you need to climb up to your room on higher floors!!! Very big parking space in the campus. Giving it 4* and not 3* as there were some good gestures by the hotel like paperback delivery of newspapers and very reasonable prices for their services. RECOMMENDED!

Horrible service. The attitude of the staff is undigestable, worse hotel service I have ever come across. Ego is too high. High time to kick out the employees and replace with young enthusiast.

I often stay at Hotel Saramati whenever I visit Dimapur and have had many good experiences here. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is polite and accommodating. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The restaurant closes a bit too early, which can be inconvenient for those who prefer a later dinner. Extending the dinner hours would be appreciated. Additionally, the doors in the rooms do not have manual locks from the inside, which would enhance the sense of security. Overall, it's a good place to stay, and I look forward to seeing these minor adjustments in the future.

Had a great experience, very good for meeting up with friends and also business meeting.

Nice worth for money. Food is bad, they have to change their chef. The location is awesome in the middle of the city and very near to all.

Old hotel and the picture are dipicted as if new.....

Organized a program there. Least flexible in schedules. Staffs were rude (of restaurant. Reception and housekeeping staff were nice and cooperative). Restaurant staff were scolding us for our conference going 10 mins off schedule, which is usually normal for every event. This was the attitude for every request , even though we paid full amount in advance. Other than that, food quality and quantity were good, (delegates appreciated the food and overall arrangement and placement of buffet), hall was good, easily accessible. Housekeeping staff helped us in arranging the stage. Verdict: Infrastructure is good. But, felt unprofessional in dealing with customers, who were there to organize an official program.

It's located at the heart of the town. Only 5/10 minutes distance from Dimapur Railway station. The hotel is friendly for family.
