Hotel Royal Star

Very Big property, but Shabby rooms.. Very poorly / unprofessionally managed reception. It took very long time during check out due to reception boys poor handling of credit card machine. Will never come back again...

Room staffs are ill mannered. Ordered dinner but was served after 1 hour. Mattress of bed are worn out. Poor quality blanket is provided Hygiene is not maintained. Dirty toilet. TV was not working as the switch board out of order. If the power goes off, the AC also switches off..and that too Ac installed in far corner of room. Room was not worth for that price tag.

Its most important thing is that it is couple friendly and budget friendly, service is also good, there should be some improvement in the matter of food. Try to make the room more beautiful like decoration television almirah etc.

I would prefer giving the hotel a - 1(minus 1) rating if possible. First of all they have not disabled online payment with their linked websites, and upon booking the hotel via online payment, the reply that you get once you enter the hotel is that they are not accpeting online payments and hence you will have to take all the hassle of getting a refund for the payment made online and if you wish to stay at their pathetic hotel you will have to pay them in cash. Secondly, the service out here is poor and its a total disappointment in the name of OYO. I asked the hotel staff for the toiletries provided by OYO and all i get is two sachets of sunsilk shampoo and 1 bar of liril soap. There are cockroaches in the room. The cleanliness is pathetic. The bathroom door lock is broken but they have managed to somehow keep it shut via a MAGNET. I had ordered a vegetable pakoda at the room service, and the reply i get after an hour is that it had been served to a different room number by mistake, as if the other person staying at that room accepted an unordered dish. Staying at this hotel is a pathetic experience all through out and a total waste of money. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone.

This was a highly disappointing experience, as the hotel blatantly denied us check in, because of the conflict they have with OYO rooms. At the end of the day, it's the customer that suffered the most. Just a heads up that it's also in the middle of the wholesale market in a very narrow road, so it may not be the most appealing location. Would not recommend anyone to book here, and stay at Hotel Acacia instead.

It was good but please do check for daily necessary like toilet papers n tvs. Thanks over all it was great.
