Hotel Grand Lotus Dimapur

Relatively good hotel! It looks great. All tile and glass. I'm not a smoker and stayed in a smoking room. Didn't realize it so yeah there was a smell. Food was hit or miss but fresh. Breakfast made to order at no extra cost. Other than that...for the area and the price, there's nothing to complain about real. The rooms only have Indian sockets. Not International. So, foreigners be prepared. No mosquito net but they have plenty of anti-bug humidifiers. I didn't see one bug in my room. Beautiful lounge and bar on the first floor. Large window design of the hotel gave plenty of light. Great view of the skyline from the roof. The staff are the best part about the hotel. All of them are uniformed, spotless, professional and eager to serve! Dolly, one of the receptionist, was awesome! She really helped me out in explaining the neighborhood; and, in helping me find worthwhile venues. Venues that had unreliable info on Google. She's top notch! But thanks again to all the staff!

The rooms are a bit dated and they don't have all the amenities of some of the other surrounding hotels, but the staff are so good and friendly. They routinely go so far beyond what I've experienced at the other hotel. Thanks to everyone there, including staff and receptionist, we had a fantastic time. On a side note, Opus, the owned restaurant on premises, rivaled any other on the hotel. 4 stars for their conch chowder, and I'd challenge anyone to find any better throughout the city!

I had a good idea of the hotel, where I'm going to stay, as I have stayed here before. It's a very good hotel within my budget, that too, close to the station. Rooms are neat and tidy. Bathroom is spacious and clean. The best part that I like here is the dining experience. The food here is standard costly, but the quality and the quality of the food is good for me, which I get in a few hotels. The items tastes awesome which I expect from starred hotels.

Nicely maintained hotel and budget. The room size is moderate but clean, the bathroom was clean. The bed mattress was a little uncomfortable.Lift facility is there.Hotel location is not good,it's located in a dusty area, although most of the area of Dimapur is dusty .The hotel has a good restaurant with helpful staff.

Peaceful haven close to the railway station. Lovely large room with view over the town. Booked an executive room which was only a little more and very worthwhile. Just had lunch in the restaurant which was excellent. Veg and non veg options.

Disappointed with the hygiene of the room, there are termites everywhere in the room and even after complains nobody entertained it. Moreover the staff is non cooperative at the reception counter, they need to stop acting as the owners of the hotel. Food was fine and the restaurant staff is good.

Beautiful stay! Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. The location is great- very near Dimapur Train Station. Only stayed 2 nights but the hotel has standard rooms which are clean. The parking area is also specius. All the staff from reception to restaurant were really friendly. It is vey central and walking distance of all local shops cafes and restaurants. it was a very wide buffet spread. Breakfast was very good. A lot of varieties: hot cold food, pastries fruits, coffee tea, so tasteful. Want to say a special thank you to all receptionists who helped us so much! I would recommend to friends, and on my next stays, I will definitely check into the hotel again. The price performance ratio is very good."
