Budget House

The host was very welcoming and helpful. He went out of his way to help us in giving recommendations and tips in traveling around. The food was also good. The rooms had only the basic amenities. There's no running hot water but you can it at some extra charge. I think the rooms could have been cleaner even if the amenities stay minimal. The location is well connected through autos and taxis. If you are on a budget this is definitely a good option.

Honestly I did not stay at the hostel but visited their place everyday during my stay in Dimapur. The owner and his brother made me felt so welcome even though I wasn't staying with them and gave me so much insight of Dimapur and touring Nagaland. I truly felt their passion and sincerity in wanting to develop the tourism industry in Nagaland and you have to hear it from them personally to appreciate what I felt. From my visits, the hostel is super clean has all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

His local knowledge was invaluable, and he helped me navigate Dimapur and discover hidden gems I wouldn't have found otherwise. He was also just a genuinely friendly and welcoming person, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a solo traveler looking for a comfortable and social place to stay, or a group of friends wanting a budget-friendly base to explore Dimapur, Budget House is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
