Royale Lalawi Hotel

One of the best four star hotels in Aizwal. It has all standard amenities that you would expect from a four star hotel. The staff is well behaved and smiling, the food is lip smacking and top notch service. Kudos to the staff and management. Recommended for all.

I was there for a friend's meeting recently. Nice staff, they are very warm in their service. The place close to Aizawl club and great view of the city. The parking area is ample. You can walk around during morning. There is a fruit vending area nearby where you can find pineapple, orange of local produce. The place is not disabled friendly, they should build a ramp.

It feels like one is staying in a room perched up high in the heavens for early morning fogs gives one that vibe through the windows and evenings feels like one is among a sea of stars floating into blissfulness for the view from rooms is such. My oh my if ever you're in Aizawl look no further for an experience of a lifetime awaits you here... Icing on the cake are the young, energetic and polite yet professional staff who care to your every need be it in the restaurant , reception, housekeeping, travel desk, security etc or any wish you have, rest assured it'll be well taken care of. Also a shout out to Mr. Ethan & Ms. MoiMoii from Front Office and Ms. Rose & Mr. Duhsaka from Food & Beverage Service, who've went well & beyond their job description to help cater to our every need. I would also love to thank Mizoram & The Government Planning Department for whomever we met every one was so hospitable, welcoming and kind hearted, I take back home your warmth & care & surely we'll be extending d same hospitality in our hometown towards people from Mizoram. Had a pleasant stay at this property, located centrally. Well behaved staff to take care of your needs.

Hotel is located a bit far from main market but near to lots of government departments.Staff were very helpful.WiFi connectivity was good .Breakfast was basic with 2/3 veg items .Rooms are spacious and housekeeping was good.Hotel provides taxi pick up and drop from airport at reasonable rates .

Probably one of the top three hotels in Aizawl currently. Rooms are newer compared to the other hotels, but not sound proof. So the trade-off is between quietness and a partial view of the hills. Don't expect a star hotel buffet breakfast anywhere in Aizawl, but the food at Lalawi's restaurant was pretty good. Location-wise, it is the hotel closest to the Raj Bhavan but otherwise, it is a couple of kilometres away from the city centre. We walked the distance daily but given the terrain, there is quite a bit of up and down and not everyone may want to do that. The lobby can be accessed only by climbing a little over 20 steps and the restaurant is one floor below. The elevator can be accessed only from the Lobby and from the higher floors, where the rooms are. This was not an issue for us. In fact, walking anywhere in Aizawl will involve climbing up and down, but anyone travelling there with elders or toddlers should know this. We loved the fact that we could just step out and walk a few metres to buy fresh fruit daily. People are lovely and the service was quite good. On the whole, it is a hotel worth considering when travelling to Aizawl.

The best so far in Aizawl! The front desk staff are incredibly helpful, especially Ms. Muani, who went above and beyond to assist me today. A special mention to the General Manager, Mr. C. Remmawia, whose professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness truly stand out. Wishing them both continued success and good health to carry on their excellent service!
