B&B is in the old town of Bari....rooms are new, spotless clean and staff Titti & Nadia are very helpful and welcoming. Surely recommend a stay...great value for money...10 out of 10 for sure!! My next stay in Bari will surely stay there...also walking distance to cruise terminal ( MSC Ships & other lines). Thankyou for the lovely stay

Our family of three stayed at Annarita's B&B for a week. The place is very well situated so it is easy to move around the old town area. The room was very clean and the bathroom was practically spotless, it actually seemed brand new. Another asset was the terrace situated on top of the building. Annarita serves breakfast there (very tasty :)) and also it is a great place to rest and relax in the evening. Annarita is very kind and helpful with everything. All in all, we are extremely happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this B&B for a family stay. Only one thing: the stairs are pretty steep!

It's a real scam. This place as nothing like describe. They tell you you get a room at 2nd floor and you end up on 4th floor. Once you arrive taxi drops you at a square and then you are on your own, owner never shows up, only give you instructions once in awhile. Once you get in, it's ok room, but do not go outside. By the door people do their business and it's kinda dangerous neighborhood. Locals looks so angry at you as you walk by.||It's not a tourist place, it's one night stay.||We reserved it through Booking 3 months before and when we found the reality we already couldn't get our money back. After talking to Booking a whole day on phone instead of rest the owner agreed give us half back. When Booking called her for verification, she all of a sudden wanted 150 euros more. So we stayed one night in a place and end up paying for it 850 euros. It's a scam, lie and rude owner. After she got 850 she wouldn't even help us get a taxi. Be aware, don't stay here ever

I have kind of mixed feelings about our stay at B&B Palazzo Nicolaus. On the one hand, the room was beautiful, the bathroom very clean and the shower excellent. The airco worked perfectly. Sadly the spring mattress on the bed wasn't that comfortable: too hard and you could feel the springs. The location of the B&B is also perfect: right in the heart of the old town of Bari, just a short walk away from all the main tourist attractions. Can't get any better than that. Be mindful though, this perfect location comes with a price: a narrow staircase that leads up to your room. If you are less mobile, I wouldn't recommend staying here.||||On the other hand we were kind of taken aback by the breakfast served. On the pictures it looked excellent, but we noticed that the lady of the house just left the old pastry sitting in their containers on the roof top terrace (in more than 30 degrees Celcius). I can attest to having seen pastry that sat there for more than 48 hours. I did not have the guts to taste it... Why not serve fresh pastry every morning? Luckily we could eat some rusk and some bread she thawed in the microwave. The charcuterie was fine though. Also the breakfast always got served later than announced.||||The rooftop terrace in itself is a nice place to relax. You even have a jacuzzi and an outside shower to enjoy.||||We left on a sour note though. We arranged with the lady of the house that we could stay until 15h the day that we would be leaving. Normal checkout time is 10h, a bit too early for us, since our flight left in the evening. At 10h we got startled by loud knocking on the door: the cleaning lady insisted we had to leave our room. We explained in our best Italian we had arranged that we could stay longer, but to no avail. We had to leave the room. Luckily we ware already packed and we could leave our suitcase downstairs. We asked the cleaning lady to contact the owner and also tried to contact her ourselves, but we didn't succeed in getting a hold of her. Later on we got a message from the owner that there was a misunderstanding with the cleaning lading. But by then we had already left.

Annarita was an incredible host. She was accommodating, resourceful, kind and made me feel at ease from the moment we talked on the phone. The building is extremely well situated in the old town of Bari - only a few steps away from some of the best restaurants and food take out places in town. If you like to stroll along winding roads and get lost in the "authenticity" of life in "Bari Vecchia" this place is a do not miss. The building was spick and span and the room had all the amenities one could ask for including a beautiful shower. The breakfast was up on the roofdeck and Annarita did a wonderful job at allowing guests to select many food options for breakfast the day before.

We had an incredible stay at this B&B in Bari. It is in the heart of the old center of Bari where you are surrounded by other B&Bs as well as many locals. Although everything is in walking distance and there are many restaurants around it is a rather quiet place. The rooms are very comfortable and uniquely decorated, the host is very welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was very nice and on the roof top there is a jacuzzi. Be prepared to get some funny instructions when at arrival the first entrance to the B&B ;). We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back to this place again.

We had a great stay at this residence. The owner was very nice and responsive, the room was clean and beautifully designed with unique details, it had a lot of facilities including a coffee maker and a tea maker in the room. The breakfast on the terrace was also a special experience. All these made our stay very pleasant and worthy to reccomend the location.
