They say first impressions are everything, and this was awful from the start. Despite 24 hours notice that we'd arrive at 3pm, it took 3 attempts at calling to get a response, and then it was an "OK" and put down after 20 seconds. After 10 minutes, no one arrived, so we messaged. No response after another 10 minutes, so I called and was told just coming. Guess what?! After 50 minutes, someone arrived on a scooter said nothing, certainly not an apology, and just pointed at the door. First thing said was "city tax" and finally got a "thank you and 10am check out" after handing cash over. Do good things come to those who wait, though? NO!! Pictures of bathroom must have been taken decades ago, as walls not white, a lot of mould in grout, and didn't even provide a shower curtain. Also had clump of hair from previous occupants in drain protector over plug. The coffee/tea making facilities were a kettle above a wardrobe and no tea/coffee. We've travelled extensively and had better service and facilities at $10 a night rooms in South East Asia. For the first time we can remember, we got a nights sleep and went to an alternative provider. Telling them this had no response either. I don't think they want to be hosts, just take money. They would be better selling so it could be used and cared for as much a needed home for someone local.

Accomodation was basic at best, room was smelly from the street sewers. Be mindful that the central location means it is noisy and quite a walk with luggage. Communication with the host was ok. Bathroom left a lot to be desired, it functioned but very basic, shower would not be suitable for tall people or anyone with limited mobility. Location is very central. Fine for 1 night but definitely would not stay longer than that.
if you're looking for a minimally decent place in Bari, don't book this one. unfortunately we rented this because The location was attractive and had our worst hosting experience of our lives. The room was terrible, dirty and not even had water. The bathroom is unbelievably bad, there was a pillar in the bathroom and I couldn't stand on half of it, I hit my head several times on the ceiling, in addition the shower was broken and water was leaking all over the room, there was mold and it was very disgusting . The sheets didn't look clean and towels were only offered for the body, nothing for the face, the bathroom rug looked used and dirty. I do not recommend.
It's a good and cheap place to have a sleep. The room was very small, and there was no wardrobe, but it's not so bad. We had to pay additional 15 euro free to check in after 11pm. Overall experience was good. People speak English, which is a big plus.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this accommodation to anyone. We booked two rooms for total of 5people. Both of the rooms were not very clean and quite small but we decided that would not be a major problem since we were only staying for two nights. ||The room on the top floor (I believe right under the roof) was absolutely unacceptable. We arrived first afternoon and found out the air conditioning was broken and did not work at all. I am not the type to complain about this kind of stuff, but we were staying at the hotel at the end of July during hottest summer weather. After spending only unnecessary time in the room to shower and get ready to leave I felt terribly sick from the heat, very close to fainting. I contacted the owner who promised to have a look at it the same evening while we went out for dinner. ||No one contacted me back all evening, when we returned, I saw no one tried to fix the aircon. I contacted owner via text message right away and received no reply. Later that night (around 1am) someone knocked on our door and brought an electric fan. When I asked if we could change the room i received no answer. This person promised again that they will have a technician coming in the next day around 12pm to repair the aircon as clearly it was unliveable in the room. I agreed as we had no other choice at that moment. We went out the following morning and returned late afternoon, found out nothing had been repaired again and no one contacted me all day again. As we went out for dinner and left following morning in very early hours I did not bother to communicate with owner or staff anymore as clearly they did not care about state of the rooms or guests comfort. ||Apart from broken air conditioning I am sorry to point out also things like disgusting mould in shower, in fact one of the shower walls was broke, had a hole in the middle bottom part, you can get easily injured there. ||Also the shower had what looked like a clear bra strap hanging there I believe. There was also problem with hot water while showering. I don't want to imagine how were the rooms cleaned up or if they were at all. ||This was most likely the worst experience with accommodation I had, would not book second time.
When I arrived at my booking, the host realised that other guests have used my room. Because the other guests were absent, the host manually collected their belongings and put them back in their room without their permission. The host said we should come back in 30 minutes until he cleans up. When we asked to use the toilet first, the toilet was not flushing at all. We refused to check in and the host confirmed he will refund us for the inconvenience - which never happened. A few questions for the host and owners: - Since when is it legal to touch other people's belongings in their absence? - Since when is 30 minutes enough time to clean a used room? - Since when is it ethical not to provide a working toilet for 4 gusts that booked your venue? Should we have the content pile up or? - How are my complaints not enough to get a refund? On top of everything, since I never checked in, I am unable to leave a review on Booking.com. A disgrace!!!!! VERGOGNATEVI!!!!!
Small room and big bathroom which makes no sense. It was cold as hell, we had to sleep in trousers, sweatshirts and winter hats and it was still cold! The only heat source was small radiator which was leaking water on the floor. Air conditioning device wasn't working properly. People who were running this place barely spoke english. Also they were very loud. Once when we were going down the stairs, they were doing some renovation or something and my girlfriend touched freshly painted handrail with her gloves, scarf and jacket! They didn't say or warn us about that they painted it. There wasn't any note or warning sign. Overall i definetly DON'T recommend it, stay as far as you can from it.
Never again! Unfortunately, we booked one room in this place and it was one of the worst places we had ever been to. The toilet had mould, the bed sheets were dirty and had blood stains, there was a watercooker but no glasses or tea, no water in the fridge and only one towel per person. At first, we couldn't even find the place as there is no big sign outside or anything. It is not a classical b&b / hostel (there was no breakfast neither a reception), only apartments in a building. Thank god we only booked one night. We wouldn't have stayed another night there.
