    Wandering Grizzly Bear

This hotel has a pretty good location, near the sea, at the entrance to the city, easy to find. The breakfast is continental, but it has a very large selection of sweet dishes, while there are only a few savory ones - hard-boiled eggs, cheese, ham, mini tomatoes, bread for toast, a small loaf of bread and butter. Okay, if you're staying a few days. The downside is that around 8:30 some things, such as the nice croissants, were gone and they didn't bring new ones, the fruit was only a couple of apples, all battered, the bread only white, and one morning we waited over 20 minutes for them to put the bread in because it was gone. The coffee is excellent, as are the other hot drinks from the machine, but they only have black, green and some with lemon again green, so children and pregnant women have no choice for a hot drink except hot chocolate. What was most disgusting was the smell in the room from the bathroom. It was literally like sleeping in a siphon. Our child woke up all night and complained that his room smelled, and it really did. The rooms are older, not as comfortable as in the pictures, although they look like that, but the bathroom is terrible, smelly. Another terrible thing is the shower that is placed on the ceiling, so the water falls on you from a height of 2.5 m, bathing a small child there is a disaster, the pressure is very weak, and everything gets wet, you just can't wash the soap off yourself, let alone the child who is 1.5 meters from the shower. Instead of small towels, we were given some kind of cloths like kitchen towels to wipe ourselves and they don't absorb anything. The parking lot is not big in front of the hotel, but now we managed to find a place every day, the staff is very kind and ready to help with information. The wifi is good, but you have to log in again every time, and your password is only valid for 1 day. The bed in the room has a hard mattress, but it wobbles a lot when you sleep as a couple and it creaks as if you are on a ship, and benefit rooms are blinds that completely darken the room, which is a rarity, and I really appreciate that we can completely darken the room. The hotel urgently needs renovation, honestly, but since the price was good, everything would be ok, except for the disgusting stench from the bathroom.

We went to this hotel for a stopover straight from the airport. Reception staff were friendly and we had to make our own way to our room. The room was quite dark and the bathroom was dirty. There was mould in the shower where it hadn't been cleaned properly for what must have been a long time.

They can't reimburse a booking that I did by mistake just for few hours. Unprofessional. I imagine how the rest of services are offered. Go somewhere else if you can.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can walk to the beach in ten minutes. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel staff are friendly, but the hotel facilities are poor and old! As soon as I entered the room, I saw spider webs on the lamp, the bathroom lacked space and the faucet was weak! The bed was very narrow and uncomfortable to sleep in. The air conditioner was very noisy. The breakfast was good but the staff would not greet any guests.

Short stay with a friend. Hotel didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, clean room with comfy bed, room cleaned daily and decent breakfast on roof terrace. Great price too! Near airport with small beach nearby. A few good seafood restaurants nearby

Probably one of the worst hotels and experiences I've ever had. The Airconditioning was not working in one out of the two rooms so we returned the keys of one room and requested a refund for one room for one night. The hotel refused saying we should contact booking.com The hotel, staff and management are a awful. Please think 10 times before ever visiting this hotel however reasonable their rates might be. They have refused to refund the amount for the one room for one night.

The staff at the reception were kind and professional but there are many things that are not quite up to the required standard in this hotel. The front door sometimes open, sometimes it doesn't. The management does not seem to mind or take care of this and think it is normal that guest have to pull sliding doors to get out or come in.. |The rooms we were given was quite small and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with a shower full of hairy mould at every point. The bathroom was dark and had dark tiles and I think the cleaners did not pay much attention but when standing in the shower, It felt revolting to even touch the wall. I asked for this to be thoroughly cleaned and they did, but it was such an accumulation of years that it did not come clean, but at least the walls had mould rather than hairy mould. |We could have asked to move, but after travelling around packing and unpacking for a month, I could not face packing again to change room as these were the last 3 days of our journey. |It may be that the hotel has better rooms, and I see some had balcony, perhaps being more airy and spacious and light and mould free. |The roof terrace was very nice but the breakfast was disappointing. The waiters were quite rude (no hello or good morning) and they would just aggressively asked for the room number, as if we would go all the way up there to steal their poor breakfast |The coffee was in a machine dispenser and didn't taste nice. The machine also broke a couple of times during our stay. There were cereals but not milk, and we had to ask several times for this (why not leave it in the fridge with the yogurt?!?!) and my child had to wait until we all finished breakfast to start his. This was a every day problem. There was no milk anywhere despite serving cereals and sometimes no spoons or napkins. The croissants were the worst as they were placed randomly on the shelf, instead of being under their corresponding description, which could be a lethal problem with people with allergies. During my stay I had multiseed croissant and apricot croissant which were placed in the cream croissant section, which is what I wanted. |Lastly, being so close to the sea and having wet gear to deal with on a daily basis, it would have been nice to have a balcony to dry things at the end of the day. Overall, way below expectations and lots of room for improvement
