Fly Bed & Breakfast

Absolutely perfect for what we needed and the owners were extremely accommodating and excellent at responding. We arrived hours before check-in and they let us leave our suitcases and bags with them while we walked into town. Just 20 minutes through cute neighborhoods until we got to a local cafe. Grabbed some groceries and again, easy walk back. The property is gated so felt safe. Our room was clean and AC worked great. Knowing we'd had a short stay hosts even offered to order food for us in case we were hungry which was super sweet. We also had to leave at 3:30 am and they booked the taxi for us (Taxi charged EU20 fyi), and made themselves available to open the gate for us that early too. Genuinely grateful for the owners for all their help to make the final leg of our stay smooth and comfortable.

We really liked everything. The attitude and service are super and the atmosphere is comfortable. Unfortunately, our flight was missed during the transfer and at night it was very difficult to find accommodation for the night, but in this place we were accepted with the children. Located 5 minutes by taxi from the airport. Thank you very much.

We chose this accomodation due to its proximity to the airport as we were landing very late at night. Sadly the photos on the website did not match what we saw on arrival. The room was not clean and enticing. The grounds were dirty and the garden was dead and dusty. The pool was empty and there was general rubbish strewn around the property. The WIFI details in the room were no longer working and the owner had to take us into the office to scan the business password for us to get access. Breakfast was composed of biscuits that were dry & stale and pastries that were quite old and shrivelled. The main gate was electronically closed and the owner had to open it. To access the owner, we had to phone them as they were not usually in the office.

The good: comfortable bed, nice towels, very close to the airport|The bad: stark, dirty rooms in need of maintenance||The compound is enclosed in a high barred sliding gate, there is nothing nearby, sandwiched just off the end of the runways and train tracks. It's very spartan and poorly maintained. Our room had a tile floor, one chair and a small desk. It was cold and rainy outside, the room was cold and two short showers used all the hot water. WiFi was spotty and VERY slow. There were big gouges in the walls and they were marked and dirty. The shower had rust and mold in the corners. We used their transport which is convenient and pricy- 15 euro each way. The door of the car didn't close reliably. The owners are helpful, making early breakfast before our flight, which was really early, with good coffee, yogurt, packaged bread and biscuits. He ordered delivery pizza for us for dinner since there isn't anything close. ||Stay a little further away, get a decent meal and have a clean and comfortable room. I can not recommend this accommodation. |

We spent one night in this cozy B&B and loved it for its location (3 minutes from the Bari airport on the owner's shuttle car, 10 euro each way), quietness and family atmosphere. Our suitcase was lost on our arrival at 23.30, so we were late in calling the owner (as we had previously agreed); he actually called us and came to pick us up after midnight. Our room at the ground floor was quiet, new and in perfect conditions. We enjoyed a yummy breakfast with some incredibly tasty fruit from the owner's garden plus local pastry, coffee etc. All in all, great for our very late arrival, we totally recommend this place. As a bonus, our suitcase arrived the next morning at the airport, just before we jumped on the coach to Vieste.

FLY has a lot going for it. It is 2 minutes from the Bari airport and has a resident manager. The offer a convenientv15 euro transport servive to the air terminal. We appreciated their flexibility when we unknowingly arrived before the 3pm check-in time the rooms are ample and clean. That said, there are also some drawbacks. Wifi access was sporatic and unreliable. There are no places to eat within walking distance so you need to have a car or keep your rental car while staying there. You will also need to telephone the manager every time you want to enter or leave the gated compound. We also experienced a few annoyances. Noone showed up for the 8 am breakfast we booked so we had to eat at the airport. The shuttle driver did not have any change so our 15 euro airport shuttle morphed into a 20 euro shuttle. All things considered, it would be very difficult for us to justify booking there again.

Only positive sides are free parking, proximity to the airport (~1,5 kms) and friendly owners. Rooms are very small, so do the beds, one can hardly fit. Very noisy as expected, there is also a railway nearby. Not as clean as we expected. One night only

very close to Bari Airport - 5 mins drive. Rooms are clean, well equipped, (A/c, fridge, hair dryer) and comfortable beds. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, they booked us into a great restaurant nearby. Really good! The walls are good - we didn't hear our friends snoring (and vice verse!).
