What a lovely night we spent at Casa Dei Venti. The staff were extremely helpful when we needed to book last minute with a late check in. I love the interiors. It feels as though a lot of love has gone into the design of the rooms and, after a long day sightseeing, the waterfall shower was wonderful. The room itself was very clean and felt airy. We had an early departure but a lovely staff member packed us off with a takeaway breakfast for the train. Thanks again for a lovely stay. If we return to Bari we will definitely book a room here again.

The hotel is in a good location, and the overall look is fun, but it wasn't very comfortable. We only needed one Queen bed, but we had three twins with two pushed together that kept sliding apart during the night. We could also hear a neighbor playing very loud music every night, almost as though they were in the room with us. Although the room was spacious, the bathroom was tiny with a loud door that was difficult to open and close. We did appreciate that the room and bathroom were very clean, though. The breakfast was mediocre, but the hosts were nice, and the Internet worked great. We also enjoyed the book about Bari that was in our room. That was a nice touch, and Bari was our favorite city in all of Italy.

Would recommend staying here! The location is central in that it is well connected, so if you're looking for a nice place that isn't in the historical centre but is still central it's a very good choice. They offer a wide selection for breakfast (which is included in the price), including seeds/grains, yogurt, bread, pastries, cheeses and ham, cereal etc. The woman who runs it is very attentive, friendly and readily answers questions (beach suggestions, etc). She also offers to make eggs for you, as well as coffee, so you can sit down in the lovely breakfast room and enjoy. The room itself was very nice, with an extremely comfortable bed, a fridge, air conditioning (a necessity in summer), a TV, a coffee machine AND electric kettle so you can make coffee or tea (wide selection as well) when you like, they even include sugar and honey. In the bathroom they have anything you would need, including Q-Tips, cotton swabs and a nail file which I thought was a nice touch. The price is honest, and the service staff really make it worth it.

It was a nice little place, with a homey feeling to it. We liked very much the common/breakfast area, chairs, cutlery and the food. The room was not big but it had a en-suite bathroom with pretty much everything you needed. Fresh sets of towels everyday and amenities. The room has air conditioning, terrace, TV, coffee and tea as well as water in the minibar all included in the price of the room. Breakfast was good and might I say better than most Italian hotels I've staid in. Location is in a palazzo on the second floor, with an elevator. 50m up or down the road you would find a nice seafood restaurant or on the opposite direction a pizza/sandwich place. 5-7 minutes walking distance from Bari Centrale, 10 minutes to Bari old town. ||On the down side, room entrance was directly from the breakfast area, might result in some noise in the morning and the feeling that you are being heard as well.

I came across this hotel at a late search and it was a great surprise! The room was spacious and clean, both of the receptionist ladies I encountered were really friendly and attentive. I arrived earlier than scheduled check-in time but they still made it for me to get in earlier and put my stuff inside. Breakfast was great too. The hotel was small and quiet, it was a really pleasant stay. Many thanks to all the staff there!

This small B and B has large rooms with good sized en suite bathrooms. Our room had a small balcony and wooden shutters that can be open for ventilation or closed to make the room super dark for sleeping. There is an electric kettle and a small fridge in the room, very convenient. Good free wifi. Breakfast was basic but OK. The room was very clean, housekeeping came daily while we were out, and there was good water pressure in the shower. It is 1 kilometer o the Cattedrale in the heart of old town, and about 5 blocks to the train station, so it was a convenient location. Overall a good place for the price.

Lovely and charming B&B. The man who checked us in was helpful and nice. My room was well appointed. Loved my bed, very comfortable almost like home. Sheets were fresh and smelled clean. Unfortunately we had to leave at 6 am and missed breakfast but we did see that he had set up nicely for us in the common area dining room table. He also called the taxi for us the next day. |We lucked out as our last day may 8 Bari celebrated Saint Nicholas day with a huge festival!! Fantastic timing.

This is a very good value B&B. The location is a good compromise, as it is more or less the same distance from the main train station (useful for travelling around Bari) and the old town. The main shopping area is also nearby. The B&B is situated on the 2nd floor and there is a rather antique lift that nevertheless worked without a hitch. The rooms are all in shades of purple/violet, rather nicely designed, though perhaps a refurbishment would be good idea in a year or two. The host, Paolo, was very kind and helpful. For example, he agreed without any hesitation to keep our suitcases for one day after checkout, so that we could go for a night in Matera only with small hand luggage. Breakfast is provided at one 'communal' table and is a typical Italian breakfast you would have at most other establishments of this kind, with one disappointment being the lack of 'proper' Italian coffee. The other thing to have in mind is the noise. The streets in Bari are noisy up to rather late hours and the windows are not soundproof. To light sleepers this may be a serious problem.
