THE LOOMKYNTOOR RESORT

Had a great time at THE LOOMKYNTOOR RESORT! The view is absolutely stunning--perfect for relaxing and clicking beautiful photos. The cottages are comfortable and cozy, making it a great place to unwind. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout our stay. It's located very close to Phe Phe Falls, so exploring the area is easy and fun. Whether you're coming with family, friends, or as a couple, this place is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Such a peaceful and tranquil place and stay - we actually could only hear the sound of nature for a change (rather than noisy guests or construction or beeping cars!). The cottage (no4) we stayed in was very quaint and nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful. The food was good too. Walking down to the waterfall pools was lovely the cherry on the cake. We enjoyed our peaceful stay. It was much needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, it is very good if you like to enjoy the location. People and staff are very friendly and helpful. Ford quality is fine no concern. Rooms are lacking in maintenance. Wooden floors are making a lot of noise. Door locks are but outdated. Pools are excellent, you will get private pool as well. Lot of place for kids to play. If you walk down you can see a private waterfall and small dam. Thank you

This was a hidden gem during our trip to Meghalaya. Most rooms have private pool and rooms are with basic amenities (no AC - not required). We stayed only for a night but it was really amazing. Service was excellent and food was above average. Location is mesmerising.

The rooms are very good. The view outside is really awesome. Though the vegetarian food is available, the options are less. The staffs are very kind and good. The water heater's capacity in the bathrooms must have been more as the temperature goes so low there, the current capacity would not suffice.

Seeing the reviews for this resort on Instagram and mostly positive google reviews we decided to book this resort coz of its close proximity to Phe Phe falls, but the rooms do not justice to this pristine location. We booked two cottages and one of our rooms was missing a toilet seat and the other the entire shower, for the expensive price of 4000Rs per room we expect the amenities to atleast be in one piece. Not to mention one of our coffee table tops were also broken but upon informing the receptionist about it, she went ahead and blamed it on me and said i must have broken it which wss extremely rude. Secondly, we were 4 friends visiting and specifically requested to be put in one room even before we booked the place, they kept telling that none of the villas were available and gave us two cottages that were the farthest from each other but when we stayed there we noticed that their villas with the pools were all empty and one of their smaller cottages were also empty and despite of requesting to be brought closer, we were still denied multiple times at the reception. The food was quite good and we were impressed with the service but our rooms ruined the vibe. Overall, we did enjoy but i m having to rethink if id book again, because this place indeed has so much potential. Id recommend them to revise their prices, youre charging way too much for subpar facilities. Here are a few snippets of us

Ambient place and it's quite interior place. Resort is nice and scenic. Have a beautiful view witnessing morning sunrise, birds chirping, music of a waterfall, and the hill echoing our voice. Food - no other option and have to preorder if we are reaching the resort bit late. There is no wifi and network here. Room Water heater does not warm you enough and needs improvision

I was very careful while booking this resort at first after seeing few bad reviews but it was an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff were extremely nice, polite and helpful. The rooms are very very cozy and have full privacy at a reasonable price. This place has great view as well. Plenty of parking space. One of the highlights of this place it's very close to phe phe falls with a 20 mins trek to phe phe falls and 8 mins in car. Only downside of this place it goes through a village and the road is not in good condition so if you're going with a low ground clearance vehicle it might be a problem for you. Overall i recommend this place and i will visit again.
